Thursday June 28—Athletics Carnival Field Events
Dear Parents,
This is the last newsletter for Semester 1. It has been a very busy, productive
time for our students. We have celebrated their involvement on the sporting field, enrich-
ment activities on the stage and some wonderful performances in our showcases. Mention
of course should go to our debaters who continue under Mrs Harts direction to win their
debates. I look forward to working with you in ensuring that the second half of the year is
as rewarding as the first. School resumes for our students on Tuesday the 17th of July.

TEACHERS STRIKE
Tomorrow (Wednesday June 27) there will be a Teachers Strike. Please keep your children at home.
Congratulations to Tyrone who had a very successful weekend at the City of Wol-longong Eisteddfod, taking out 3rd prize in the 9 years and under piano solo and 1st prize in the 9 years and under piano solo (restricted). Well done!

The following children have successfully completed the Premier’s Reading Challenge 2012
Congratulations to you all, your characters will appear in the Enchanted Forest on the library wall in the
near future. We are holding a competition to see if more boys, or girls finish the challenge this year. A
chart showing the progressive score is on display in the library. Get reading everyone!

Congratulations to the following boys who represented our school in the Rugby
League Gala Day: Max , Zane , Ethan , Tyler , Ben , , Liam A, Finn , Blake and
Isaiah .
They played very well and most importantly had fun. Congratulations on being
