A multi driver array comprising two 75mm(3”) midrange units, two 75mm (3”) bassunits and one 19mm (0.75”) ultra highfrequency SuperTweeter™ is used in theelegantly slim and compact HighLine300 series.
Using exactly the same drivercomplement in each of the loudspeakerswithin the full system ensures a synergyof sound which is a crucial element forthe very best home theatre experience.
Extending the bandwidth of theloudspeakers by using a SuperTweeterensures enhanced intelligibility byproviding a more focussed sound stagethrough superior spatial imaging. Vocalsand instruments are clearly moreseparate and distinct and percussivesounds have more reality and impact.
Mounting the high frequency unitcentrally between two midrange driverscreates a larger radiating area andcontrols tweeter dispersion off axis.Technically known as a D'Appolito driverconfiguration, this system provides agreater uniform coverage area of thesound. This means that the whole familygets an equal share of the full hometheatre experience and not just theperson sat in the middle of the sofa!
For maximum acoustic integrity of thedrive units the already robust cabinet isfurther internally braced at strategicpoints throughout its length to ensureperfect reproduction. So even if thepostman rings twice …you'll hear exactlywhat you're meant to.
