Curriculum: Pre-Algebra
• Marking period grades will be determined by the number of points you earn on the following things:– Tests (usually one per chapter)
– Quizzes (at least one per week)
– Homework (typically given every night)
– Notebook Quiz (one per marking period)
– BPO (Bonus Point Opportunities)
• Report cards and progress reports are sent home electronically.
Grading
• Homework grades are updated daily.
• Please update your e-mail address.

• Before school on Tuesdays & Fridays (7:15-7:45 am)– A clinic pass must be obtained in order to attend.
– Please check my calendar for availability.
• Study Hall Day 4 during 4th period
• Homework Club: will be held after school on Tuesdays & Thursdays. There will be a 4:00 pm bus to take students home.

Assessments
• PSSA English Language Arts and Math/Science: The Pennsylvania System of School Assessment (PSSA) includes assessments in English Language Arts and Mathematics which are taken by students in grades 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8. The English Language Arts and Mathematics PSSAs include items that are consistent with the Assessment Anchors/Eligible Content aligned to the Pennsylvania Common Core Standards in English Language Arts and Mathematics. The Science PSSAs include items that are aligned to the Assessment Anchors/Eligible Content aligned to the Pennsylvania Academic Standards for Science, Technology, Environment and Ecology.– Taken during school day
