Dear Families & Friends, Assembly will be on Monday, 25th February at 9:00 am. Thank you to the families who notify the school of home arrangements, it helps if we know where the students are going. Sarah is available for afterschool care. Please contact me if you would like her number. It’s lovely to have some great settling in time in class. Students are gaining good work habits as routines are established. Don’t forget ---- Cakes and slices are needed for Saturday, 23rd March for the election. Plus we will need some volunteers for the BBQ, to sell raffle tickets, slices etc at the Election stall. A few hours is all we ask. The P & C subsidise your children for many activities throughout the year - eg: tennis, camp, swimming and ukulele to name a few. Help in return will be greatly appreciated. Kind Regards, Liza Duncan Principal
Our students really
enjoy cooking with Ms
Duncan in our fantastic
kitchen - the new stove
is great and yummy
pancakes were cooked
in the new frypan.
Of course the students
and staff appreciate
eating the freshly
cooked goodies.

3-4-5-6 CURROBUNG CLASSROOM We have all been working well in the Currobung Classroom. This week we have started our “Book Club” where each of the 5 reading groups are reading a chapter book and are discussing what it is about. Students have been completing comprehension questions about the book after each chapter. The books we are reading are: “A Wrinkle in time,” “Tom’s Midnight Garden,” “Wolf Boy,” “Cabbage Patch Fib” and “River Rescue.” We have started homework and home reading. Please return your homework book and reader bags every Friday. Peer Support group activities have started on Friday afternoons. Collect 5 Peer Support Awards for 1 Progress Award. Thanks also to Annie’s Grandma Sue, for donating lots of great books for our class bookshelf.
