About TASHFounded in 1975, TASH is a leader in disability advocacy and supports the human rights and inclusion of people with significant disabilities. TASH members and supporters include persons with disabilities and their families, educators, researchers, service providers and a variety of other professionals and advocates. The inclusive practices TASH promotes are backed by research and are shown to improve outcomes for all people.
2011 TASH Conference
Now in its 36th year, the TASH Conference is the advocacy, networking and educational event of the year. The 2011 TASH Conference will feature the leading experts and advocates on issues impacting the disability community today, including employment, inclusive education, community living, cultural competency and many other civil and human rights issues.
The 2011 TASH Conference theme is NO EXCUSES ‒ Creating Opportunities in Challenging Times. This theme reflects the spirit of the disability movement today; that progress can and must be made despite the challenges ahead. The TASH Conference is the catalyst where positive energy and ideas become real progress in the lives of persons with disabilities.

Micro-Enterprise Marketplace ExhibitionTASH is dedicated to increasing employment opportunities for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. New in 2011, the Micro-Enterprise Marketplace is an opportunity for entrepreneurs with disabilities to showcase their products and services during the TASH Conference. The Micro-Enterprise Marketplace is combined with the general exhibition space and includes all the benefits of exhibiting, plus a discounted rate. Assignment of SpaceTASH assigns booth space according to the date of receipt of the exhibitor form. No booth space or positioning shall be reserved without completion of the exhibitor form and payment of exhibitor fees. TASH reserves the right to accept or reject any exhibitor.
PaymentTASH requests payment in full for exhibit booth space at the time of registration. Exhibitor forms will be considered for early registration if postmarked or received on or prior to July 15, 2011. Deadline to submit the exhibit form with payment is November 1, 2011.
CancellationExhibitor may cancel booth space up to 90 days prior to the start of the TASH Conference (November 30, 2011) less a $150 processing fee for general exhibitors and $35 processing fee for Micro-Enterprise Marketplace exhibitors. Space cancelled 60 to 90 days prior to the start of the TASH Conference will be charged one-half the total price of booth space. There will be no refunds for space cancelled within 60 days of the start of the TASH Conference.
Use of Booth Space and MaterialsAll materials must be confined to the limits of the exhibitor booth. No exhibitor may assign, sublet or share space. The use of musical or sound equipment is allowed, but must not negatively impact or disturb other exhibitors or conference attendees. TASH reserves the right to reject any materials used in the exhibitor booth, including, but not limited to, materials with offensive, derogatory or harmful content. Exhibitors are allowed to distribute samples or other materials to conference attendees.
ResponsibilityExhibitor assumes responsibility and agrees to indemnify and defend TASH and the Hilton Atlanta and their respective staff and agents against any claims or expenses arising out of the use of exhibition premises. The exhibitor understands neither TASH or the Hilton Atlanta maintain insurance covering the exhibitor’s property and it is the sole responsibility of the exhibitor to obtain such insurance. TASH and the Hilton Atlanta are not responsible for theft or damage to the exhibitor space.
