Parkhurst Dining was established in 1996 as a division of Eat’n Park Hospitality Group. Eat’n Park has been a consistent presence in the mid-Atlantic region since 1949 and we are excited to be expanding our footprint in dramatic fashion by entering the Chicago marketplace in late 2016. We are passionate about providing authentic food and flavors that are handcrafted and personally designed by our chefs for our guests. Our recipes come to life every day in our kitchens using the best ingredients, prepared in the freshest ways possible. We believe in “Knowing Your Source” and partnering with the finest, local, family-owned farms and producers of food in our communities for fresh products, right from the neighborhood.

Parkhurst provides dining services to corporations, and independent colleges and universities, focusing on those client partners that are looking to move the needle when it comes to their dining program. We customize our dining programs to deliver the highest quality dining experiences. With a culture of caring for those in the communities we serve, each partner is a name ‒ not a number.

We Choose Imperfection Over Standardization

Authentic Culinary Experiences

FOCUS ON FRESH

Our scratch cooking methods focus on fresh, non-processed ingredients. On the plate, that means incredibly flavorful and more nutritious meals. Food is prepared-to-order, or cooked in small batches as close to service as possible. We’ll be serving fresh, organic, cage-free shelled eggs daily, soups and sauces made from fresh stock, and entrée meats roasted in-house.

WHOLE BODY CUISINE®

Whole Body Cuisine is a line of well-balanced dishes that enables our guests to make sound eating choices to fit their lifestyle goals. Each item follows recommended nutritional guidelines, without sacrificing rich, luscious taste, to help make managing one’s daily diet an easy and enjoyable experience.

HEALTHY INSPIRATION POINTS (HIP)Strategically placed healthy foods and nutritional information guides our guests to make healthy dining and lifestyle choices. With Healthy Inspiration Points, it’s easy for our guests to eat better and feel better about themselves.

ECOSTEPS

EcoSteps represents our steps to sustainability and communicates the actions we are taking to become more environmentally friendly, through programs such as composting, reusable to-go containers, on-site gardens, and our innovative local purchasing program, FarmSource.

FARMSOURCE®

Parkhurst is committed to purchasing at least 20% of our food from local farmers, growers’ cooperatives and producers. Our guests enjoy fresh, wholesome foods while we support the local agricultural community.

Parkhurst has an entire purchasing department dedicated to sourcing the highest quality local and sustainable products at fair prices. We consistently purchase more than 20% of our products from local sources. We work very closely with our suppliers to determine which products are best for our guests and kindest to the environment. All locally purchased foods are labeled as such, so there is no doubt about our commitment to purchasing locally.

Food items, including pork, dairy products, potatoes, cabbage, squash, apple cider, and honey, are purchased locally year round. We believe we make a difference by thinking locally and sourcing products within our partner communities.

Authentic Culinary ExperiencesWE BUILD LASTING RELATIONSHIPS

AND DELIVER EXCELLENCE FOR OUR GUESTS EVERYWHERE

Parkhurst Dining is proud to be the foodservice provider at our second Google location and first dining location in Chicago, Illinois. Google, which is noted for providing the best user experience possible, makes Parkhurst the perfect partner as the best dining experience possible!

Google’s recent move to its brand new Chicago office brings a creative energy to both the former Fulton Market Cold Storage building and the longtime meatpacking district that surrounds it, making it a top workplace in Chicago.

Parkhurst operates the Fulton Market Café, which offers complimentary hot breakfast, lunch and hand-crafted coffee beverages. The bright and open café space features both traditional dining tables and soft seating for those that want to dine socially or those that prefer some solitude over their meal time. With sweeping 180 degree views of downtown Chicago – there’s not a bad seat in the house!

With an open-concept kitchen, Googlers can enjoy watching the Parkhurst culinary team prepare the meals and talk with them about the food during service. Previously serviced by a local catering company, the elevated dining and food experience available in the new Google office not only provides the energy and fuel to support their teams throughout the day, but also brings coworkers together to share ideas. In addition to the new café, Parkhurt also provides food and beverage for the brand new conference and event space in Google’s Chicago office. With space for more than 400 people, it is the perfect backdrop to showcase Parkhurst’s catering expertise.

Parkhurst’s continued partnership with Google in Chicago is a reflection on our ability to grow and adapt with our clients while always providing authentic culinary experiences.

WE ARE PASSIONATE ABOUT NUTRITION AND WELLNESS

Parkhurst is thrilled to welcome Alicia Koloski as its new dietitian. Alicia serves all corporate and higher education dining venues by supporting the recipe nutritional analysis process which ensures that all Parkhurst Dining recipes are coded with over 1,500 allergens. Alicia guarantees that the recipes our chefs use are safe and accurate. Alicia also supports all nutrition information on NetNutrition, an invaluable resource with which our guests can research their menu options by category.

Alicia supports our Parkhurst corporate dining locations such as Google and PNC by providing diners there with wellness and nutrition lectures, and working alongside chefs during their cooking demos.

“Upon joining Eat’n Park Hospitality Group, I was amazed at the opportunities within the company for dietitians and the passion for food and relationships.” said Alicia. With her expertise in and passion for nutrition and wellness, Alicia is an integral part of what makes Parkhurst Dining a unique partner for clients who want authentic culinary experiences.

OUR PEOPLE, OUR COMMUNITIESWE LIVE, WORK AND SUPPORT THE COMMUNITIES IN WHICH WE

OPERATE.• United Way – In 2015, team members donated

$422,480 to United Way agencies in the communities where they live and work. Once again, they shattered the previous year’s record fund-raising.

• Caring for Kids – The five-week-long campaign raised an incredible $470,495 for more than a dozen children’s hospitals. Since the campaign was introduced in 1979, Caring for Kids has raised nearly $9 million. It is truly a team member-driven, community-oriented fund-raising campaign. And all funds raised remain in the local community, benefitting the nearest children’s hospital.
