WELCOME TO ART MAUl '84

The show you are viewing, Art Maui '84, is a result of a year's planning and preparation by members of the Maui community who are dedicated to supporting quality art for the people of Maui. The names of many of these people and groups are listed on the pages of this booklet. Their tireless effort and support makes this show possible each year. Maui is becoming a reknowned center for the arts as evidenced by the works accepted for this exhibit. All of the art works have been created in Maui County within the last two years by local artists. Their creations provide Art Maui with its purpose for being.

As chairman of Art Maui '84, I congratulate the artists, say, "Mahalo" to the people who have made it possible and extend to you, the public, an invitation to enjoy the show.

so YOU NEED NEW ARTWORK?

If your customers have been giving you the brush-off, come to Graphic Marks. Why, I haven't seen such a fine bodyof artwork since Lydia, the Tattooed Lady! Ah, Lydia! What she could do with the bust of Caesar! I get a seizure just thinking about it!

On the other hand, the wrong graphics can make your business a bust. But Graphic Marks can design letterheads, brochures, and flyers so good they could almost hang in the Louvre. Imagine what they can do for you if you sell louvre doors! ~ . But don'ttake my word for it - ask Mona whatwe did for her. Well, why did you think she was smiling?
