Total Revenues: $82,710,641 ➢ Newly installed HVAC unit at WES follows in footsteps of other “green” systems at RES (2001), RMS (2007) and IES (2008-09)

➢ Reading teachers and reading and math coaches assigned to all elementary schools

➢ RHS musicians consistently selected for state and nationalfestivals and competitions

➢ RTSD offers more than 75 clubs and after-school activities

➢ Bus transportation provided to approximately 90 private, non-public schools and learning institutions

➢ Six RHS seniors won 2013 National Merit Scholarships; 23were finalists (pictured below)

➢ Recent athletic accomplishments, including a state championship for girls’ golf; Central League championships for girls’ basketball, boys’ swimming and boys’ and girls’ lacrosse; historic success at the Stotesbury Cup Regatta for boys’ crew; and a state final appearance for girls’ lacrosse

The 2013-14 budget decreases the 2012-13 real estate millage by 0.1105 mills for a total 2013-14 rate of 21.7122 mills, with: ➢ $5,169,348 to fund Capital, Technology and Curriculum

initiatives in the district;➢ $1,977,460 to fully fund the legislatively-imposed 2013-14

Pennsylvania State Employees Retirement Fund (PSERS) obligations; and

➢ $765,000 carried over to implement a full-day kindergarten program scheduled to begin Fall 2014.
