Born in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Taylor Friedhof spent four years in art program offered by her high school, Lecanto High called the Lecanto School of Art. Here, she focused mainly on fine arts, but soon switched her interests to graphic design while attending Flagler College in Saint Augustine. Graduating in May of 2014, with a major in graphic design and a minor in pychology, Taylor plans on becoming a free-lance graphic designer specializing in logos and poster design.

The Martini Shot is a film oriented lounge geared toward film buffs. The name ‘Martini Shot’ is taken from a term meaning the last shot of the day in a film studio. The coasters are a trivia game for people who wish to test their knowledge of movie quotes. The front of the coaster has the quote, while the back as the answer.

Someone close to you may be harboring thoughts of deep depression and seem very happy and laid-back while around groups of people. It is important to know that the warning signs of suicide are not always obvious.

Eyes Wide is a Stanley Kubrick film festival being held at the Metro theater in tribute of a fantastic director. The films that will be shown are each considered classics by fans of the director. The poster deisgn carries elements of each of the four films.

Dystopian Novel Collection

The Dystopian Novel Collection from Penguin is a collection classic novels about corrupted worlds. The designs of each of the three novels shown connects either an important item in the story or a theme. In A Brave New World, the inhabitants rely on a drug called Soma to get through each day. The sphynx on the Time Machine cover is where the time machine is being held by the antagonists. Lastly, in WE, nearly every building is made of glass so that it is easier for the government to spy on its people. The cracked glass on the cover stands for the rebels in the story who are trying to gain their freedom.
