    Important points:

    1) Calculator is allowed

    2) Questions are lengthy unnecessarily, but are easy so do the short questions first & in lengthy questions, analyze a little bit,

be smart. Generally the answers can be taken out from last part of the questions.

    3) Although test is online, you can switch between the questions easily & change your answers as well, before you actually

    click on submit.

    Tips to crack aptitude:

    1. Never guess an answer. Attend only the questions you are reasonably certain of answering correctly. (I attended exactly 30

questions, never guessed any question randomly.

    2. If you dont get the answer in the first try or you get stuck up quickly skip the question. Come back to it later if you have

time. (I attended the first question skipped 8 questions before answering the next question).

    3. Read the question fully once and find out what they are asking. Most of the time they give a lot of irrelevant data to confuse

you. For example they may ask a problem on ages but may also give you data on blood relations ( I have 2 brother and 2 sisters.

You have to correctly deduce the fact that you only need information related to Age and the rest is irrelevant data.

    4. Try not to panic at the sight of those long questions. Most problems are very simple which require you to do some logical

    thinking with a clear mind.

    5. There will be certain questions which will be very simple but will have small twists.

    6. Most questions asked have a fixed pattern. A friend of mine attended the interview on 21st (she too got selected). Most of

the questions I got were similar to the ones she got with slight changes introduced (learn the logic dontmug up the answer).

Answers should be compact and relevant.

Never try to pretend. Be smart and honest.

Do not try to bluff the officials with fake mark sheets & certificates , if they caught you then you

will be blacklisted from TCS for 3 years.

Do not write anything fake on your resume, they will definitely ask everything mentioned in your

resume. Conversation skills do matter for the HR & MR interview, for technical all you need is just give at

least 60 % of the answers correct.

Be prepared with common questions like tell me about yourself, Why TCS etc but do not mug upothers answer be genuine and give your own answers.

Please follow the interview etiquettes and try to avoid silly mistakes.

If they offer you something to eat/drink be generous & try to avoid only first time. If they insist

    you then take it.

Eye contact is very important. If there is more than one person in the interview panel thenmaintain equal eye contact with both of them even if the second person is not asking a singlequestion.

Remember interview is a selection process not a rejection process. They had already rejectedstudents in the online test. Now, they are looking for a reason to hire you.
