• Suman Ramesh Tulsiani Charitable Trust (SRTCT) was set up on 6th February 1989 in Mumbai.

Suman Tulsiani in a nutshell

• Born on October 9, 1937 in Goa

• Primary education from New English School in Murgaon, Goa,

• Shifted to Mumbai for further studies

• Holds a B.A degree in Psychology and French and secured a first place in French.

• Founded the Suman Ramesh Tulsiani Charitable Trust (SRTCT) in 1989 to realize the philanthropic ideals after her marriage to Ramesh Tulsiani.

• SRTCT has accomplished a great deal in its objective of helping the needy and underprivileged in the fields of education and public health.

On the occasion of her 75th birthday, we felicitate Suman Ramesh Tulsiani of SRCTC who has been a driving force behind every achievement of the Trust.

• Construction of a building for Motiben Dalvi Hospital on Hughes Road, Mumbai.

• Establishment of a dialysis centre at Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Vaidyakiya Pratishthan's

• Dr. Hedgewar Hospital at Aurangabad.

• Arrangement for the provision of meals for the relatives of patients in the pediatric ward at J. J. Hospital, Mumbai.

Some examples of the invaluable contributions of SRTCT to the cause of public health and support for the weak and needy.

• Construction of a home for the aged and a Geriatric Centre called Suman Ramesh Tulsiani Centre of Love and Care at Sneha Mandir in Goa.

• Another old age home was set up by the Trust under the name Snehabandhan at Kansal in Rajgad district.

• To ease tremendous emotional as well as physical plight, SRTCT provides facilities for terminally ill cancer patients at Shanti Avedna, Mount Mary Road, Bandra, Mumbai.

• The Trust made contributions for restoration and medical aid in tsunami affected areas in South India.

• Awards scholarship to poor and needy students at Sophia College, Mumbai.

• Set up a facility for Advanced and Innovative Research and Education in Science at Sophia College.

• Scholarship and loans to needy and deserving students in the field of Information and Technology.

• Set up hostel buildings at Ram Ratna Vidya Mandir at Keshav Shristi in Bhayander, Mumbai.

• Set up an MCA department for Vivekananda Education Society in Chembur, Mumbai.
