identifying needs & designing aligned PD• Assisting schools in prioritizing local PD

Statewide Leadership CommitteeTask from State Board of Education

Develop teacher and principal evaluation models based on the Nebraska Teacher and Principal Performance Framework forvoluntary use by local districts.

State Model Development Groups

• Design/Pilot District Committees- To design specific instruments, oversee training and implementation. Includes pilot districts (@25), selected ESU staff developers and tech coordinators. Begin meeting in Fall 2012

• Rubric Committee- Drawn from Framework Drafting Committee; will draft summative rubrics for Framework, June 25-26

• ESU’s- Training and staff development and possible development of evaluation technology

• Vendors- Provide expertise and other products and services as process develops.
