Writer’s Biography

Adele Coviello

Hi, my name is Adele Coviello. I am writing this biography in computer

applications for the magazine you are now reading and I am not entirely sure about

what to include. So, here it goes. I am currently a junior at East Paulding High

School. My favorite thing to do is play soccer. I have played for over ten years and

still haven’t gotten tired of it. I play here at the school as well as for a club team. I

don’t really have any other hobbies, because I don’t really have the time for it. On

top of soccer is of course school work and I have tons of it. I decided to take all of

the AP and honors classes I could, which was probably not such a great decision.

Even though I tend to have unbelievable amounts of homework each night, I still

like all of my teachers. So, when we came up with the idea to write a magazine

about the students’ opinions of the teachers here at East Paulding High I was

thrilled. I thoroughly enjoyed making this magazine and I hope you enjoy reading

it.

Naseeb Dar

Hi! My name is Naseeb Dar. I am a freshmen at East Paulding High School.

My career plan is to be an interior designer. I will graduate in 2016 from high

school, and then I will go to College of Designs or Arts. I like to play basketball

and I like coloring. Usually I take my little sisters coloring book and start coloring

or I will get a paper and start drawing on it. I also like to design. Examples: clothes

and houses. When I arrive home from school, I like talking to my parents about

what I did in school, and then if I have any homework, I will finish that. After all

of these things, if we don’t have to go somewhere or someone is not coming over, I

would watch TV.

Erik Clements

Hi! My name is Erik Clements. I am a first year (freshmen) at east Paulding

high school. I plan to go into the armed forces. The things I like to do are ride dirt

bikes and go shooting with my dad. I also played base ball for 10 years and

football for one. The thing I do most is go outside and ride my bicycle that I ride

every day. Just so I can stay in shape and have fun with my friends. And when we

are really bored we go outside and play a game called haystack yes that is a real

game. If you’ve never played that game you should.

There are all types of teachers here at East Paulding

High School. Some are funny and some are energetic. This

school is filled with interesting characters. We decided to

write this magazine to highlight just a few of the fantastic

teachers we have here. We picked a few random categories

and had you, the students, decide on which teacher best fills

that category. The results are in and might I say that I

believe you guys did a mighty fine job. The teachers you

selected fully embody the unique aspect of each category.

Which of the amazing teachers did you pick for these

particular categories? Well you’re just going to have to read

the rest of the magazine to find out.

The funniest teacher award goes to …..Coach Rainey.

He is a health teacher at EPHS. He is the funniest teacher

because usually people do not like studying health or

learning about human virus he makes his class so

interesting by using his talent. No one really wants to see

pictures of some virus but he would tell us stories about

other people by using different voices. Sometimes he

would talk like a girl to make his story interesting. His

students really enjoy that class because of his humorous

attitude.

This one may seem a bit obvious but, the most artistic

teacher in the school is Mrs. Robinson. Mrs. Robinson is one of

the two art teachers in the school. She is extremely creative

and always has her students doing interesting projects. Her

students rave about her great personality. They also tend to

have tons of fun in her class. One student told us, “Mrs.

Robinson is a fantastic art teacher and she allows us to

express our individuality in our creations.” She makes art

entertaining while still teaching her students all they need to

know. Art is her definite passion and it is clear when you see

her in action teaching her class or doing her own projects. I

think you students really hit the nail on the head by voting

Mrs. Robinson the most artistic teacher in the school.

School spirit is not what it used to be at East Paulding High, but you

can always count on Mrs. Bigham to keep her students pumped. She is

always filled with enthusiasm and loves to dress in school colors and

represent East Paulding in a positive way. Her students say that she really

makes them want to support their school. Mrs. Bigham promotes all sports,

everything from football to soccer to tennis. She is also a strong promoter of

the arts at the school. Mrs. Bigham enjoys participating in school spirit

activities such as dressing up for homecoming week. Mrs. Bigham recently

participated in the McDonald’s fundraiser. She volunteered to work at

McDonald’s for an hour and a half to raise money for the school. Mrs.

Bigham also tells stories about her past experiences as a teacher involving

school spirit that always encourage students to attend games to support our

sports teams. Mrs. Bigham does not just promote her spirited attitude

toward extra circular activities. She also maintains a great attitude in the

class and keeps her students wanting to do their very best at all of their

assignments. She does a wonderful job of promoting good work in her

classes. Mrs. Bigham let’s her students express the things they are spirited

about as well.

The most talkative teacher is Mr. Hall because he is always talking

about the TV hit The Walking Dead to all of the class. The teacher also

has friends in the class and they talk all of the day and even some time

they plan what they are going to where the next day. Like today, Mr.

Hall was talking to all the teachers outside of the class room for a

moment of the class. But when the week came that we wore customs

he put on his costume and at the end of class we all made fun of each

other and talk on how to make the best zombie costume with all of that

fake blood ant cotton. At the end of that period we talk for about

15minutes.

What is meant by a nicest? What makes a person nice? Who is the

nicest teacher at East Paulding high? And why is she the one, what

makes her to be the nicest teacher at East?

The meaning of nicest is being pleasant in manner; good-natured.

And this award goes too...

Mrs. Clifton!

She is the nicest teacher at East. She got this award because kids at

East say; she would respect you if you respect her, she will help you

with everything like; if you ever failed a test, she will tell your grade,

and do reviews till you get the problem that you were struggling on, or

she would suggest you to come to tutoring, and the next day she would

give everyone another chance to bring their grade up by taking a

retake. She will pick the highest grade and put that grade in the grade

book. One time she told everyone that if they finish their quiz on time

she would give everyone a piece of Hershey’s chocolate. All of these

things can make a person a “nice” person and Mrs. Clifton is one of

them!

The e coolest teacher is Dr. Sheehan because he to can beat some

teacher out of the water when it comes to the fact that people wants to

be in his class. Sometimes he tells stories about his child hood to the

class. Some time there no topic but usually he talks about what is going

on in his class at that moment in time. Unlike most teachers he tries to

have fun with his student instead of just sit there and make us take

notes and lecture. One of his most coolest moves is when he make fun

of the student that don’t mind and most of the time we all laugh and

enjoy the time we have in his class. But one thing is that we don’t mess

around in his class we actually do work instead of just mess around and

talk the entire time.
