Primary Care College WDC NatPaCT Purpose To create a learning and development

network, sharing resources and working to recruit and retain staff. Work builds on existing initiatives in the PCTs and seeks innovative and effective solutions. The approach is inclusive, involving clinical and non-clinical staff from primary and community care, as well as staff from Social care and the prison health service.

To deliver a health and social care workforce capable of implementing the NHS Plan, working in partnership with our member organisations.

NatPaCT works with Primary Care Trusts to help them learn and grow together as connected and competent organisations and leaders of radical change to improve health and services for PCTs.

Dimensions 10 PCTs across Tees and Durham 167 practices Developing links with Social Services and Prison Healthcare

10 Pct’s, 5 Secondary Trusts, 6 Local Authorities, Independent Care Sector, Voluntary Care Sector, Prison Healthcare across Durham & Tees Valley

National team entering year two of three-year initiative. Local Facilitator works across 16 PCTs in the North East of England.
