2.- Description and general objectives
The purpose of the course is to provide students with basic knowledge that argue the importance of Physical Education for the training of students at all levels. The subject must teach the concepts of didactics, safety, progression and implementation, so that the university students can finish the course with a base that allows him to develop basic and deep in the field of Physical Activity Sciences and Sport applied to primary education.
General objectives
1. To know the foundations of Physical Education and to understand how PE contribute to comprehensive education.
2. To acquire and use specific vocabulary. 3. To create basic lessons where PE aims are worked. 4. To develop social competences through cooperative work. 5. To understand the importance of having a healthy lifestyle to promote it to students.

6.- Activities and methodology
La metodología es activa y participativa, siendo ésta una característica básica para construir un aprendizaje significativo de las diferentes competencias del módulo. El aprendizaje se articula a través de dos plataformas:
1) Plataforma FloridaOberta (www.floridaoberta.com), una herramienta LMS (Learning
Management System, basada en la plataforma tecnológica Moodle) que facilita el proceso de aprendizaje del alumnado a través de la interacción con los recursos didácticos disponibles en diferentes formatos, el desarrollo de las actividades de aprendizaje, y la comunicación tanto síncrona como asíncrona con el profesorado, tutores/as, y los/as compañeros/as que intervienen en el proceso de aprendizaje.
La estructura del módulo en Florida Oberta es la siguiente:
PARTE GENERAL. Se suministra una serie de recursos útiles durante todo el curso, tales como:
Foro de avisos y mails enviados desde Florida Oberta (para informar sobre aspectos relevantes para el desarrollo del curso como aperturas y cierres de tareas y actividades, exámenes, tutorías, fechas clave, etc.) Dicho foro servirá de referencia al grupo de clase en su día a día. Por las características del mismo, si así se tienen configuradas las opciones de mensajería de la plataforma, se enviará un correo a la cuenta de email especificada con cada nueva entrada que el profesor/a anote.

Recursos generales
BLOQUES TEMÁTICOS. El módulo está estructurado en bloques que agrupa una o varias unidades didácticas. Cada bloque contiene:
*una introducción sobre los objetivos del mismo, y un video introductorio (VIDEO SI SE CONSIDERA NECESARIO).
*un foro de dudas del bloque que facilita tener ordenadas las consultas de cada unidad. Es deseable usar este medio para centralizar las consultas, para que todos los actores del proceso formativo se puedan beneficiar de ellas.
*actividades de aprendizaje. Para el desarrollo del aprendizaje en cada bloque se irán planteando en una serie de ejercicios o tareas de manera progresiva y que refuerzan la aplicación de la metodología “learning by doing”.
*Actividades Evaluables (AE) - Para la evaluación del módulo se solicitará la realización de actividades evaluables que permitirán valorar el nivel de desempeño de las competencias a desarrollar, y que tendrán que realizarse en un plazo fijado. El desarrollo de las actividades estará apoyado en todo momento por la profesora, mediante el foro de consultas, mail, videoconferencia o con tutorías presenciales u online (TEAMS), si así se desea. En todas las actividades que se planteen, tras la corrección de las mismas, se proporcionará un feedback significativo por parte del docente, tanto cuantitativo como cualitativo.
*Recursos didácticos. Asociadas a las actividades de aprendizaje se dispondrán de una serie de recursos didácticos en formato electrónico: vídeos grabados por el profesor/a, links y referencias a materiales externos, apuntes elaborados por el profesor/a, videos de

videoconferencias realizadas con el grupo, y cualquier otro material y recurso que se considere oportuno.
2) Plataforma TEAMS: En el hipotético caso de tener que pasar a una modalidad online debido a la actual crisis sanitaria causada por el virus Covid19, las actividades formativas presenciales se realizarán en línea a través de la herramienta TEAMS de Microsoft Office. En tal caso, las sesiones de clase se realizarán online y todas las sesiones serán grabadas y posteriormente colgadas en el repositorio de archivos de la aplicación. Para participar en estas sesiones, los alumnos tendrán que descargarse la aplicación en el dispositivo que se vaya a usar para el trabajo online. Para un correcto desarrollo de dichas sesiones en modalidad online, el alumnado deberá tener una webcam, altavoces y micrófono.
El volumen de trabajo del alumnado en el módulo corresponde a las horas establecidas en el diseño curricular. Esta carga de trabajo se concreta entre:
The workload of the students in the course is equivalent to 25 hours per credit. This corresponds to a total of 150 hours bearing in mind the value of 6 credits stipulated for the course. This workload is divided between:
Training activities in the classroom (theoretical and practical classes, seminars, inte-grated projects, tutoring...). 60 hours.
Selftraining activities (study and class preparation, preparation of exercises, projects, analysis of articles, preparation of exams...). 90 hours.

Marking Modalidad presencial El sistema de calificación emana de una evaluación formativa y continua, basada en el feedback profesor-alumno/a, y en la capacidad del alumno de trabajar de manera autónoma. Para aprobar la asignatura es necesario haber realizado en tiempo y forma todas las entregas del sportfolio. Si no se realizan todas, el sportfolio no tiene valor. Es decir, solo tiene valor completo. Las presentaciones teórico-prácticas deben llevarse también todas a cabo para que cuenten de cara a la evaluación. Si el alumnado falta a más del 20% de las sesiones, pasará a estar calificado y evaluado mediante el sistema de evaluación no presencial. Modalidad no presencial Los alumnos/as que no asistan a, como mínimo, el 80% de las sesiones prácticas, pasarán a estar calificados a través de mismo procedimiento que en la modalidad presencial (deberán entregar todos los trabajos pedidos), con el añadido de un examen teórico y una prueba práctica. Estas dos pruebas tendrán un peso correspondiente al 60% de la nota de la asignatura, teniendo los trabajos un 40% del peso final. Modalidad online En el caso de que debido a la crisis sanitaria se deba pasar a una docencia online generalizada de la asignatura, los trabajos y tareas que estaban previstos para ser llevados a cabo en vivo se sustituirán por trabajos y tareas que permitan el mismo beneficio docente y se puedan llevar a cabo de forma telemática.

9.- Students in Special Situations
La persona que no pueda asistir con asiduidad a clase deberá ponerse en contacto con el profesor al inicio de la asignatura para justificar su falta de asistencia y concretar el seguimiento de esta y la forma de proceder. Este seguimiento se concretará en diferentes vías de actuación en función de la posibilidad de asistencia del alumno/a a clase y según criterio del profesor y el acuerdo alcanzado.

11. Specific regulations
Es obligatorio llevar ropa y calzado deportivo cuando las sesiones se realizan en el pabellón.
Es responsabilidad del alumno/a revisar el correo electrónico y el foro de mensajes de la asignatura.
Cualquier situación personal inicial que implique la falta de asistencia a la asignatura durante un periodo prolongado, deberá justificarse y comunicarse al profesor durante la primera semana de clase.
No se admitirán justificantes de faltas de asistencia salvo razones de causa mayor, salvo situaciones de emergencia generalizada donde se cambie el modo de dar clase a un modo online.

12. Office hours
Office hours are designed to be a time when students can come to a teacher to ask questions, get additional help or turn in/pick up work from absences. Office hours provide a tool for teaching student’s responsibility, accountability and independent learning. Students are kindly requested to set an appointment via email before showing up for attention.
