    Simon Says

This timeless game can be played with 2 or more people. One person ischosen to be Simon. Everyone else stands in front of Simon, leaving plentyof room between for arms to fly or legs to hop. Simon tells his followers toperform certain body movements. The key is that the movements may onlybe made if Simon declares, Simon says!

For example, if Simon instructs, Simon says, flap your arms like a bird, then everyone may freely flap their wings. However, if Simon merely says,Flap your arms like a bird, no flapping is allowed. Anyone who flaps, is outof the game until the next round. The last of Simons followers still in thegame gets to be Simon next time around.

The object is to listen very carefully to hear whether or not Simon includesthe important words Simon says in the instructions. As you play thegame, remind the children of this objective. One of Simons instructions caneven be to recite this weeks listening Bible verse!

Wear your ears while playing Simon Says and see if they help you to listenbetter! (See craft )
