Chaotic-land

Background: Chaotic-land is a country in crisis. Your

new EAC is a group, the purpose of which is to raise money for Chaotic-land.

You need to develop a mission statement for the project. Divide yourselves into groups of 5-6 persons. Each group writes down a mission statement for their EAC.

Why is the team necessary? What is the purpose of our group? How do you work? (information, money,

What am I doing right now? What am I trying to achieve? How does that relate to the purpose of the

group? Is it clear to me what others around me are

Girl and boy made out at the last village party. Girl and boy do not talk any longer, and are creating an unpleasant atmosphere in the group

How do you fix it? Who has the responsibility of fixing it? Would a solution be to kick one of them

out?

50% of the group is always late for meetings and do not contribute to the work. It seems they are more interested in writing the EAC on their university application than anything else.

How do you fix it? What should you do, if you are the

“problem”?

Page 28: Teamwork Youth Leadership Workshop. Agenda Introduction Four Stages of Team Development Dysfunctional Team Members
