QUIETNESSPREMIUMThe NISSAN TEANA powertrain has been modified and softened to provide a quiet space in

the cabin that also intercepts exterior noise through increased use of absorption materials

on the roof trim, dash and floor mats to provide advanced cabin isolation. It begins with the

pressing of the Push Button Ignition that results in a driving pleasure which is a product of

smooth acceleration, excellent stability and quiet performance.

The TEANA’S next-generation CVT transmission lets you ride a seamless wave of power. A

new suspension design puts you in touch with the road; while new technologies help you take

the wheel with more confidence. It’s all of this and more, in a sedan that truly redefines what it

means to be driven.

ZERO-GRAVITY SEATS FOR ABSOLUTE

COMFORTIn zero-gravity conditions, humans tend to take a relaxed posture that minimises

stress on the body. To recreate this “neutral posture” Nissan designed an

articulated front seat that offers continuous support from the pelvis to the chest,

along with seat cushions that flex in response to your unique pressure points.

The result is a seat that helps reduce fatigue, even after a long drive, you arrive

refreshed.

EFFORTLESS

PERFORMANCE Nissan’s legendary VQ35 and the VQ25 V6 engines treats you to quick response, smooth

acceleration and an abundance of low and mid range torque and high end power. Part

of the engineering magic is Continuously Variable Valve Timing Control System (CVTCS),

which means power is always on tap for a ride as thrilling as it is efficient. The 2.5L models

achieves 135.7kW (182hp) and 244Nm (180ft-lb). The 3.5L engine delivers 198kW (270hp)

of power and 340Nm (251ft-lb) of torque.

Refinements to NISSAN TEANA’s 4-cylinder engine and Continuously Variable

Transmission help ensure it’s as powerful and fuel-efficient as ever. Stability is provided

through rear suspension. It all makes for a ride that’s so quiet and so comfortable you’ll

want the road to go on forever.

SUPERIOR ENGINE PERFORMANCE MEETS XTRONIC CVT

The Xtronic CVT delivers faster processing speeds, reduces friction, wider gear ratios

and achieves enhanced fuel economy. The new CVT control unit analyses speed and

cornering, driver intention and incline, then applies Adaptive Shift Control (ASC) logic to

choose the best shift patterns for naturally precise shifting.

SHOCKS

TEANA’S luxury sedan-inspired shocks significantly

reduce vibrations for a smooth, flat ride. A rebound

spring inside of each shock absorber makes for

minimal roughness and more secure cornering,

combining great performance with great ride comfort.

ACTIVE UNDERSTEER CONTROL

This innovative technology helps improve control

when you take a corner. It reads the cornering

situation and, if needed, will imperceptibly brake the

appropriate wheel to help you steer through the turn.

SUSPENSION

TEANA’S rear multi-link suspension was designed

for exceptional agility. You’ll feel it especially in the

corners, when the layout of the suspension allows

the rear wheels to turn slightly to match the front –

giving you the sensation of riding on rails.

INNOVATIONELECTRONIC BRAKE FORCE DISTRIBUTION (EBD)

WITH BRAKE ASSIST (BA)

EBD is designed to send extra force to the rear brakes

when there’s additional weight in the back.

BA detects how hard you’re braking, and if it senses

an emergency, it will automatically help to apply

maximum braking force.

HELPS THE DRIVER TO MAINTAIN COMFORTABLE DRIVING

EVEN WHEN A RISK HAS NOT APPEARED.

Nissan technologies make it easier for the driver to maintain safe

driving conditions. Some of these innovations reduce the driver’s

burden, while others enhance visibility and awareness of the

immediate surroundings at night and when parking, for example.

Helps the driver to recover from dangerous conditions to

REARVIEW CAMERA

Is an invaluable piece of technology that improves the

drivers view for parallel parking and eliminates danger-

ous blind spots by allowing the driver to see objects

on the navigation screen that cannot be seen on a

conventional rearview mirror.

ISOFIX

ISOFIX is an international standardized fitting

system, and is intended to make fitting child

seats quick and simple

BRAKE OVERRIDE TECHNOLOGY

TEANA comes standard with Brake Override Technology.

Designed to help slow down your vehicle and bring it to a

safe stop in an emergency, it overrides accelerator input

and reduces engine power when the accelerator and

brake are applied simultaneously.

SEATBELT PRETENSIONER WITH LOAD LIMITER

A pretensioner is designed to reduce the force that

passengers are thrown forward in a moderate or

severe frontal crash. At this point the load limiter

releases the seatbelt webbing gradually so as not to

exert too much force on the chest of the occupant

ANTI-LOCK BRAKING SYSTEM (ABS)

The standard ABS pumps the brakes faster than

you possibly can in panic-braking situations to help

prevent wheel lockup, so you can continue to steer

around obstacles while braking heavily.

SIX AIRBAGS

Standard front seat-mounted side impact

supplemental airbags are built into the seats,

so they move with you as you adjust your seat.

Above, standard roof-mounted curtain side impact

supplemental airbags provide head protection for front

and rear outboard seat occupants.

VEHICLE DYNAMIC CONTROL (VDC)

VDC, also known as stability control, monitors your

steering and braking to help you maintain your steered

path under certain conditions by reducing engine output

and/or applying brake pressure to specific wheels.

AUTO LIGHT SYSTEM

The system detects illumination outside the vehicle

using a front sensor. When light decreases below

a certain level, the system automatically turns the

lights on; for example upon entering a dark tunnel

or an underground car park.
