Tech For Seva is a Socio-Technical Conference on Inclusive & Sustainable Development. This

Conference intends to be a medium for the exchange of initiatives, intentions and information.

Tech for Seva is a platform for deliberations and debates, evaluations and explorations,

recommendations and resolutions that will lead to an amalgamation of ideas from all the major

contributors- CSRs, NGOs and the Science and Technology fraternity. Thus, Tech for Seva is a ray of

hope to steer the power of knowledge in the direction of the much needy and deserving segment

of our society.

Swamy Vivekananda, a great visionary had emphasized

the importance of Science & Technology for the upliftment

of the masses. Swamiji also had a dream and scheme to

translate this idea into practice. 'Tech for Seva' is an apt

tribute and a meaningful way to commemorate him.

Seva Bharathi established in 1984 has its presence in the entire country with more than 150,000 charitable and community development activities.The Andhra Pradesh unit, setup in 1989 has launched several projects to improve the living standards of the poor, especially the slum-dwellers and inhabitants of remote villages. www.sevabharathi.org

Youth for Seva (YFS) started in April 2007 as a platform to provide opportunities for youth who wanted to take active part in community development despite time constraints. Through this platform, YFS aims to empower youth to become positive change makers who will enable organizations and institutions to work without a vested interest. www.youthforseva.org

A National Movement dedicated for the integrated development of India through intervention of Science, Engineering and Technology. VB operates through 22 chapters in India with more than 6000 members.
