INTRODUCTION TISCO ( www.tisco.com.sa ) is a 100 percent Saudi owned partnership company under commercial registration no. 2050062119, jointly owned by Dr. Mohammad F. Al-Malki (President/MD of TISCO) and Mr. Saad Al-Zahrani (President of AL-MASHARIQ GROUP OF COMPANIES) ( www.almashariq.com ). TISCO, ISO 9001:2008 certified by TUV NORD, was established in 2008 in order to focus on providing high quality technical services to industrial clients in Saudi Arabia besides being a complementary to Al Mashariq Company’s pre-occupations with SEC Substation contracts and other infrastructural projects. Over a period in excess of three decades of contracting and trading activities, Al-Mashariq Company had accumulated a vast number of professional manpower and equipment which are today serving as valuable assets for the parent company as well as for its partner company, TISCO. In times of need TISCO is allowed the option to requisition the available resources from Al Mashariq Company. TISCO utilizes the support and expertise of its partner company to prequalify for large contracts. Accordingly, the expertise of Al Mashariq Company is reflected elsewhere in this profile. Similarly, yet another licensed office, mfadec, ( [email protected] ), is the engineering arm of the group. It is responsible for carrying out all the design and engineering works of the group apart from its own individual stand- alone assignments. Thus, it would be observed that the combined expertise of the companies of the group projects capabilities of an integral nature sufficient to effectively manage multi-disciplined EPC contracts of large magnitude in various industrial sectors. TISCO is ably supported in its In-Kingdom activities by its international principals like VEM Transresch, Daiki Ataka Engineeing Co., Ltd, KELD, Solution Engineering (PVT) Ltd., etc. and it is one huge encouragement that these companies have the requisite proven expertise to integrate very cohently with the activities of TISCO to collectively establish a hard core joint competence in the industrial business domain. TISCO considers satisfying client requirements and achieving the prime project objectives as an essential quality issue. TISCO operates a total quality management system, fully supported by the management and staff. A commitment to quality is required from all employees and the “THINK QUALITY” philosophy is encouraged in all aspects of TISCO operations.

TISCO recognizes the requirement for Quality Assurance within all business areas in which it operates and has therefore committed itself to the establishment of an effective Quality Management System which can be implemented as required on any project, study or proposal it undertakes. The aim of the system is to ensure that clients’ objectives are met with minimum wastage, rework or concessions and thus achieving a reliable cost system of management.

To ensure the achievement of these objectives, TISCO has appointed a Quality Assurance Manager, who is responsible for the introduction, documentation, implementation and maintenance of the Quality System. The Quality Assurance Manager has a direct reporting link to the Managing Director on all Quality Matters in order to ensure independence.

TISCO Quality Assurance procedures and Quality Manual have been developed to meet the requirements of the International Standard Organization ISO 9002. Our policy statements have been developed in line with these standards.

TISCO considers safety a top priority in our every day activities. It is our policy to provide and maintain a safety and health program consistent with the best practices of construction policy as well as those of our client. TISCO will comply with customer safety codes and follow the instructions of the latest safety manual at all times during the execution of the project. The commitment to the safety program will be firm, aggressive and shall be the responsibility of all line management to ensure that all the operations are performed with the utmost regard for the safety and the health of all personnel under their direction. All levels of supervision shall be responsible to enforce viable safety enforcement within their respective areas of accountability. It is the responsibility of every employee to support and promote the safety and health process in order to ensure a safe environment in which to work. The purpose of this plan is to outline the safety organization and agreements to be in place to enable the execution of works, with due consideration of the environment, health, safety and welfare of all involved. This will be achieved by maintaining a safe and healthy working environment, preventing fatalities and lost time injuries both on and off of the work sites, preventing damage to equipment, facilities and potential effects on progress and eliminating risk to the environment. This plan is not a manual of rules & regulations. This plan is an outline of the responsibilities TISCO will responsibly implement and enforce within their respective areas of accountability. This includes subcontracted work as well. Inspections and audits will be performed to ensure compliance and data recorded to assess potential problem areas and progress.
