McDonald's has an opportunity for an enthusiastic and confident individual to join the Information Technology team, based at Thornleigh on a full time basis. The McDonald’s IT team is a close knit and dynamic team, playing an integral part in delivering technology tools for McDonald’s Restaurants in Australia and New Zealand. As a Technical Business Analyst, your role includes: Enabling Technology solutions to McDonald’s restaurants that are aligned with business requirements and IT strategies, to help us deliver enjoyment to our customers and employees. Software Development life cycle execution and management of cloud solutions. Working collaboratively with key business units to bridge operational requirements with the use of technology solutions or processes. Performing systems analysis to identify development opportunities to maintain and improve the reliability of solutions. Develop technical and business requirements Conducting quality assurance and acceptance testing on delivered solutions, ensuring solutions meet requirements. Implementation of new applications and technology developments across the Business units. Preparing and reviewing technical and operational training materials for new technology development. Developing and reviewing manuals, procedures and user documentation to a high standard of quality. Providing technical support for internal service partners, business units and restaurants. To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will have the following skills, experience and qualifications: A minimum of 3-5 years of experience working in the field of Software Development / Technical Business Analysis / Business Analysis Proven Experience in all aspects of the Software Development Lifecycle, preferably in .NET Technologies. Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology Knowledge of food services industry; specific experience in the quick service restaurant industry not necessary but highly regarded. Excellent written and verbal communication skills – particularly the ability to adapt communication style to various audiences. The ability to identify, articulate and capitalise upon development opportunities for improving systems and processes to support business objectives. A strong understanding of emerging technologies. Excellent data management and time management skills. Demonstrated ability to focus on exceptional customer service.
