Driven by the global trend of carbon dioxide reduction and diversified development of renewable energy, the clean energy resources such as wind power and solar photovoltaic are gradually becoming the backbone of our power supply. As one of the main suppliers of the global new energy industry, ABB has been committed to provide the high performance, high reliability and long service life product and electrical solution.

The Emax 2 Renewable air circuit-breaker is a spe-cial product for the renewable energy. It consists of three frames, respectively E1.2 RN, E2.2 RN and E4.2 RN, rated for the voltage up to 690VAC and current of 800A-4000A, available with fixed and with-

drawal type. Also Switch disconnectors are avail-able in the Emax 2 Renewable product portfolio. The new Emax 2 Renewable family provides full protection of the electrical equipment, thanks to the special high performances electronic trip units.

—Connecting terminal

The wiring terminals of the circuit-breaker are complete and flexible. Therefore, it's very simple to install the circuit-breaker to the electrical system. It adopts the silver-plated copper terminal. It can connect to the distribution busbar according to the rated current carrying capacity of the circuit-breaker. Each wiring terminal is designed according to the width of the standard busbar. One, two or three years of wiring terminals can be configured for the circuit-breaker, so as to connect with the distribution system operating multiple busbars to meet the application need. For the special installation demand, the circuit-breaker can also be of different upper/lower terminal combinations.
