КА-32А11BC PROGRAM
Kamov Ka-32A11BC is a multifunctional weatherproof helicopter assigned for passenger transportation, cargo transportation in cabin or on external sling, execution of special S&R operations, altitude-assembly works and also for complicated fire-fighting measures. The integration of modern developments the world's leading manufacturers of aircraft equipment can increase the complexity and quality of work and special operations. The design considers operational experience of Kamov KA-32 Family, as well as operator and customer requirements. Kamov Ка-32А11М meets the requirements of FAR29, АП-29 (AP-29).Ka-32A11BC is the only Russian helicopter, having the EASA type certificate and successfully operated in Canada, Spain, Portugal, Switzerland, China, Austria, South Korea, Indonesia.
Advantages
Кamov Ка-32А11BC shows maximum efficiency in its class when used for search-and-rescue operations, cargo transportation, patrolling the area.Кamov Ка-32А11BC has no rivals when operating in high mountains, at strong horizontal and vertical wind loads and in polar conditions.Capable of lifting 5 tons of load on its external load sling, Kamov Ка-32А11BC is the absolute leader among helicopters of similar load class.Advantages provided by coaxial main rotors system and high lifting capacity make Kamov Ка-32А11BC a unique machine, unrivaled for precise construction operations and fire fightingHigh life time of main units, competitive price and reliable after-sales support provide for extremely low flight hour costs and the lowest target task fulfillment cost among helicopters in its class.*Kamov Ка-32А11М offers easy maintenance and can be operated off-base for longer times at considerable distances from the main base.
Maintenance
The experience obtained in the course of operation of Ka-32 Family helicopters under extreme conditions has enabled on-condition operation of the helicopter and most of its systems. A combination of reliable and thorough structure of the helicopter, modern avionics and special equipment, as well as appropriate procedures of maintenance assure easy and convenient support of helicopter airworthiness as required by leading operators.

APPLICATIONS
TRANSPORTATION AND CONSTRUCTION
General data in this document are for information only. For details of specifications and operation limitations, please refer to operation manual and other official documents.
With maximum lifting capacity (5000 kg) for external load sling in its class and advantages of coaxial rotor system, Kamov Ка-32А11BCoffers the best performance of external load transportation and, especially, precise building and assembly jobs. Resistance to variable wind loads, enhanced stability and simplepiloting assure operations both in open areas and in dense building of the city. Helicopter parameters can entirely change the concept of helicopter efficiency for construction in mountain areas, so that even an average rated pilot can perform this kind of mission.

When equipped with medical instruments (medical module with the removable stretchers, oxygen equipment, defibrillator, cardiograph, extra lights and electrical equipment) Kamov Ка-32А11BC helicopteris excellent for medical evacuation, both at long range from a hospital, and at dense building of a city. The helicopter can carry up to 4 standard stretchers having a patient securing system. Wide sliding doors from left and right side (optional) of the cargo compartment afford to waste no time during the evacuation. Coaxial rotor system enhances the helicopter stability in turbulence, makes the transportation of patients safer and provides for morecomfortable work of medics.

MAINTENANCE AND OVERHAUL
The system of maintenance established for Ка-32А11BC includes the following steps: level “О”, level “I”and level “D”.
Level “О” includes:• routine maintenance;• storage maintenance;• equipment diagnostics and replacement of failed blocks (if any).
Level “О” can be performed directly at the helicopter base. Routine maintenance represents a system of preliminary operations, inspections and testing of helicopter to provide for serviceability, readiness and application in accordance with its configuration in the intervals between periodic maintenance sessions.
Routine maintenance includes: • pre-flight preparation;• turn-around procedures;• post-flight procedures.
Total time of routine maintenance procedures: • pre-flight preparation: not less than 25 min;• turn-around preparation: not less than 20…25 min;• post-flight preparation: not less than 25…30 min.
Full filling of fuel tanks lasts no longer than 11 minutes for single-point pressure fuelling and no longer than 22 minutes for fuelling through tank filling necks.
Storage maintenance should be performed when the helicopter has not been flown for over 15 days. On a temporarily closed-down helicopter, storage maintenance should be performed every 15 and 30 days of parking. The helicopter, however, must be preserved when it is planned to be grounded for longer than 30 days.
Labor intensiveness of level “0” equals:• 1.22 man-hour / flight hour for on-line maintenance; • 0.4 man-hour / flight hour for storage.
General data in this document are for information only. For details of specifications and operation limitations, please refer to operation manual and other official documents.
KA32A11BC.A051F.TD00.00-P Revision A
Level “I” includes:• periodic maintenance (schedule maintenance) of the helicopter;• repair of helicopter blocks and units by replacement of failed parts and modules.
Periodic maintenance of Ка-32А11BC, its systems and units include 25,50,100,300,600 hour schedule works.
Schedule maintenance of ТВЗ-117ВМА (TV3-117VMA) series 2 engines should be performed every 100, 200,300, 500,1500 and 2000 flight hours.
Level “D” includes reconditioning overhaul of the components having fixed TBO, and reconditioning of the components to be operated on-condition.
Level “D” repair can be performed either by specialized service centers or by manufacturing companies.
Full list, periods and scope of maintenance can be found in the Operation Manual of Ка-32А11BC.
