Yantai Oceanair Refrigeration & Air-Conditioning Co.,Ltd. was established in 2004 and has been listed on the New OTCBB (Stock Code: 831870). We are mainly specialized in the development, design, manufacturing, sales and after-sales service of air-conditioning equipments, the installation and commissioning of refrigeration and air-conditioning equipments, engineering design and technical consultation services. Our leading products include underground water source heat pumps, sewage source heat pumps, seawater source heat pumps, ground source heat pumps, low and medium temperature water chillers etc. They are widely used in comfort air-conditioning systems in residential and industrial buildings, and are also applied for water temperature control in marine aquaculture, aquatic products processing, as well as process cooling, waste heat recovery and utilization in pharmaceutical, chemical, food, or thermal power industry etc. Our products are sold to more than 20 provinces, cities and autonomous regions domestically and are exported to over 20 countries and regions in Asia, Africa, Europe and South America.

Backed up by a team of qualified personnel and strong scientific research capabilities, the company is continuously committed to the research, application and promotion of integrated cross-disciplinary and interdisciplinary projects in HVAC and refrigeration areas. We have been firmly keeping up with innovative technologies, processes, materials and methods in global refrigeration, heating, ventilation, heat pump and relevant industries and have been granted more than 30 national invention patents and utility model patents successively. The company is a pioneer in evaporative water chillers in China and is the only manufacturer specializing in the manufacturing of both special section steel tube-type evaporative condensers and water chillers in China, which currently represents the highest standards of domestic evaporative water chillers. Our products have obtained ISO9001-2000 Quality Management System Certification, ISO 14001 Environmental Management System Certification, OSHA18001 Occupational Health and Safety Management System Certification, National Industrial Products Production License, National Energy Conservation Products Certification and Energy Conservation Certification for Innovative Construction Equipments in Shandong Province successively. The company has totally invested RMB 3 million in establishing a product performance testing center with the domestic advanced level to perform performance testing for various products, such as low temperature water chillers, other water chillers and water source heat pump units etc. in -35℃ cold water to 120℃ hot water, and the center has been granted the certification by the National Quality Supervision and Inspection Center for Compressor and Refrigeration Equipment.

The company covers an area of 45,000 square meters including the floor area of 22,000 square meters, with a registered capital of RMB 46.60 million and a total asset of over RMB 90 million. OWCCL-G Series Economical and Practical Type Low Temperature Chillers

Main Features of the Chiller

Flooded specialized semi-hermitic double screw compressor of famous international brand is adopted, with no leaking, low noisy, slight vibration and stable performance, which can guarantee a long term safety stable operation

High Efficiency and Energy SavingThe unit can automatically adjust the energy output of each refrigerating compressor and turn on or turn off each

compressor according to the actual requirement and change of the site to ensure a high efficiency operation under low load, avoiding energy (electricity) waste and reducing the energy consumption cost.

Dry-type evaporator is adopted which was equipped with the newest type of internal thread high efficiency heat exchange tube, combining the optimized design of the baffle plate inside the shell, which can improve the heat exchange efficiency greatly. Furthermore, the dry-type evaporator is characterized by safety oil return, which can ensure the compressors operating with safety oil return without any external oil return devices.

Horizontal water cooled hell and tube heat exchanger and high efficiency screw thread heat exchange tube are adopted with high heat exchange efficiency and convenient water side cleaning.

Reliable Refrigerating Circuit The unit is designed with single compressor independent refrigerating system, and the two system of the double

compressor unit are independent, possessing flexibility in application and good backup characteristics.Famous international brand refrigerating accessories are adopted in refrigerating system, such as expansion

valve, magnetic valve. Famous international brand electrical components are adopted, such as AC contactor, air switch.

Advanced Computer Control System

Advanced micro computer control technology from HongKong Oceanair Industrial Company is adopted, which can provide complete control and protective functions. The LCD controller is in Chinese and easy to handle, and with friendly human and machine interface. The unit can be operated through the touch screen.

One-key startup & shutdown shortcut functionDisplaying the overall operation condition, parameter settings, alarms and records through the screen figuresAuto-timing operation as per the set program, such can be set by day (three phrases) or by weeks, then the

computer will control the units to operate automatically, realizing the unattended operation.It can automatically diagnose and display the faults and has the faults statistic function. The faults can be

inquired in three ways: fault code, fault times, fault occurring time.The computer controller of the unit has the coordinated control function with the chilled water pump and

cooling water pump, which can make the system operate more safely, reliably, and energy-saving, furthermore, the controller can manage the whole water system of the machine room so as to reduce the investment in hardware of the control system of the machine room.

Perfect and Reliable Protective Function

The unit is equipped with perfect safety protective devices which can provide all-around safety protection.Default phase protection, anti-phase protection and overvoltage (under-voltage) protection to the power supply.Overheat protection, overload protection, anti-reverse protection, anti-frequent-start protection, exhaust gas

temperature overheat protection to the motor of the compressor.Protection for too low high-low voltage difference, too high high-voltage, too low low-voltage, startup delay,

too low water flow, too high (low) circulating water temperature, sensor faults and startup & shutdown code.

Multiple Choices of Refrigerant

R22 refrigerant is applied in standard unit, but other refrigerants such as R134a can also be applied according to customers’ requirements.

Easy to Install on Site

The evaporator and condenser are equipped with connecting pipe and flange, which make it easy to install on site.

Compact structure of the unit covers small areas.The direction of the pipe connector of the condenser can be changed from right to left and vice versa according

to the on-site requirements.The slight vibration makes the unit need no special vibration isolation measurements to be taken.The unit has pass strict test before leaving the factory, so you only need to connect the pipe, power, and fill

appropriate amount of refrigerant and conduct simple commissioning before it can be put to use.

Note:1. Nominal work condition stipulation: the leaving water temperature of the 43% ethylene glycol water solution is -10℃, and the water flow of the evaporator and condenser is calculated by 5℃ temperature difference. 2. The calcium chloride water solution can also be adopted as secondary refrigerant. If the customer wants to apply calcium chloride water solution, please notice in the order. 3. The ethylene glycol water solution can only be used in intermediate temperature brine unit as secondary refrigerant, while the calcium chloride water solution can be used both in intermediate and low temperature brine unit. 4. Besides the above specified product, our company can provide non-standard product according to customers’ requirement. 5. The dimension may change due to the technology improvement, so please ask for installation drawing.

Main Features of the Chiller

Flooded specialized semi-hermitic double screw compressor of famous international brand is adopted, the inserted oil separator of which is modified to obtain a better oil separation effect with no leaking, low noisy, slight vibration, stable performance, which can guarantee a long term safety stable operation.

High Efficiency and Energy SavingThe unit can automatically adjust the energy output of each refrigerating compressor and turn on or turn off each

compressor according to the actual requirement and change of the site to ensure the high efficiency operation under low load, avoiding energy (electricity) waste and reducing the energy consumption cost.

Flooded evaporator is adopted which is equipped with the latest flooded specialized external thread high efficiency heat exchange tube, improving the heat exchange efficiency greatly by about 15% comparing with dry –type evaporator; and special oil-trap devices is installed in the evaporator to enable the oil in the evaporator to return to the compressor intensively.

Main Features of the Chiller

Easy to Install on Site

The evaporator and condenser are equipped with connecting pipe and flange, which make it easy to install on site.

Compact structure of the unit covers small areas.The direction of the pipe connector of the condenser can be changed from right to left and vice versa according

to the on-site requirements.The slight vibration makes the unit need no special vibration isolation measurements to be taken.The unit has pass strict test before leaving the factory, so you only need to connect the pipe, power, and fill

appropriate amount of refrigerant and conduct simple commissioning before it can be put to use.

Note:1.Nominal work condition stipulation: the leaving water temperature of the 41% ethylene glycol water solution is -10℃, and the water flow of the evaporator and condenser is calculated by 5℃ temperature difference. The dry bulb temperature of design condition of the evaporative condenser is 35℃ and the wet bulb temperature is 24℃, for the details please ask for the sample of the evaporative condenser. The weight of the unit does not include the weight of the evaporative condenser.

2. The calcium chloride water solution can also be adopted as secondary refrigerant. If the customer wants to apply calcium chloride water solution, please notice in the order.

3. The ethylene glycol water solution can only be used in intermediate temperature brine unit as secondary refrigerant, while the calcium chloride water solution can be used both in intermediate and low temperature brine unit.

4. Besides the above specified product, our company can provide non-standard product according to customers’ requirement.

OWCCL-D Series Low Temperature Chillers

Main Features of the Chiller

Low temperature type semi-hermitic double screw compressor of famous international brand is adopted, with no leaking, low noisy, slight vibration, stable performance, which can guarantee a long term safety stable operation.

High Efficiency and Energy SavingThe unit can automatically adjust the energy output of each refrigerating compressor and turn on or turn off each

compressor according to the actual requirement and change of the site to ensure the high efficiency operation under low load, avoiding energy (electricity) waste and reducing the energy consumption cost.

Dry-type evaporator is adopted which was equipped with the newest type of internal thread high efficiency heat exchange tube, combining the optimized design of the baffle plate inside the shell, which can improve the heat exchange efficiency greatly. Furthermore, the dry-type evaporator is characterized by safety oil return, which can ensure the compressors operating with safety oil return without any external oil return devices.

Horizontal water cooled hell and tube heat exchanger and high efficiency screw thread heat exchange tube are adopted with high heat exchange efficiency and convenient water side cleaning.

Reliable Refrigerating CircuitThe unit is designed with single compressor independent refrigerating system, and the two system of the double

Scheme Summary

After an overall evaluation of the above three schemes, the OWCCL-720Z refrigerating system is adopted as the principal machine, the advantages of which are:

1. The evaporative condensation technology is adopted. The condensing pressure of the unit is low, which decrease the input power of the compressor. The cooling tower and cooling water pump are not needed, reducing the power of mating equipment. All of these improve the energy efficiency ratio of the cooling system and make the system energy-saving.

2. The initial investment is a little larger than that of the OWCCL-740G、OWCCL-700 but the saved operation electric charge is obvious.

Through the comparison of the above schemes, we can see the cooling system adopting the evaporative low temperature cold water unit saves a lot of operating cost, and is the optimal scheme.

The Installation Foundation and Fixation

The unit should be installed on solid, strong and flat concrete foundation or steel frame, and the strength of the installation platform must be sufficient to support the weight of the unit. If the strength is insufficient, vibrations and noises may occur.

The unit base must be so designed that it will not sink. For base dimensions, please refer to the unit base dimension figure (refer to unit dimension parameter table for B and M) .The surface of the concrete base is normally leveled by cement and treated with waterproofing work. The surrounding area of the base platform should be designed with drainage ditch, the gradient of which should be greater than 0.5%, and the slope direction is inclined to the outfall.

Machine Room Design and Construction Summary

1. Machine Room                         

For convenient operation and maintenance, the main operative interface should have 1-1.5 m space.In the process of operation, the exhaust side and exhaust pipe of the compressor as well as the shell of the

condenser will release heat to the environment as their temperature are higher than that of the environment, thus makes the temperature of the machine room keep rising, worsening the work condition of the unit and the operators, so the machine room have to be equipped with ventilation equipment to make sure the temperature does not go above 35℃。

The machine room should have sound insulation to prevent noisy effect to the environment, if possible, sound absorption structures can be installed to the machine room, what’s more, the main machine and the water pump should not be installed in the same room.

2.Handling of the Unit

Unloading and hoisting must be carried out by hoisting personnel with rich experience.The support feet of the hoist must be stable and will not sink in the hoisting process. Hoisting tools must be

checked before hoisting to make sure breakage or disconnection will not happen. Single steel wire rope should not be used to hoist the unit. Stop for a moment when the unit is hoisted to 20mm above the ground or the surface of the carriage, check carefully to make sure it is safe, and then go on hoisting.

Operate carefully in the process of hoist to avoid damage the equipment. Cushion block should be placed in the contact area between the hoist rope and the unit. For heavy unit, supporting bars should be added to the sling above the unit to reduce the pressure from the sling to the unit.

The unit must be slowly landed to the ground, without any impact to the ground, lest the unit will be harmed.In the process of construction of the machine room, the unit should be prevented from damage from falling

object, and the insulating coat and painting coat should be prevented from scratch. Do not stand or step on the unit.

3.Water System Pipeline

All the outside pipelines of the unit should be supported by holders or hanging brackets, and should not be supported by the unit.

When the static pressure of the water system goes above 30 meters, the water pump should be placed on the

water entering side of the unit to reduce the unnecessary pressure to the unit.The entrance side of the unit should be installed with filters no less than 40 mesh (stainless steel filter screen),

the location must make it easy for disassembly.The chilled water pipe must be of thermal insulation to avoid loss of Refrigerating capacity and the forming of

condensation water. The thermal insulated pad or wood pad with antiseptic treatment should be placed between the insulated pipeline and the supporting and hanging bracket.

Automatic or manual air release valve should be fixed at the highest point of the chilled water system;The elastic connection must be made between the pipeline and the pump. The pipeline of the system must pass

strict scrubbing and pressure test.Water segregator, water collector and water pressure balance valve must be installed when multiple units are in

parallel connection.For design of the pipeline please refer to the Design Hand Book of Air Conditioning Planning; for engineering

construction and acceptance, please refer to GB50243—1997 Engineering Construction and Acceptance Standards for Ventilation and Air-conditioning Project.

4.Water Quality Standard

Preparation of the refrigerant water1. For the preparation of ethylene glycol water solution, the ethylene glycol should be specified as the high

quality product in GB4649 Ethylene Glycol for Industrial Use, and the water should meet the requirements in the GB50050 Standards of Industrial Recycling Cooling Water Treatment. The ethylene glycol water solution concentration should meet the requirements. The solution can also be prepared by “Refrigerating air condition dedicated ethylene glycol”. For the preparation of calcium chloride water solution, the calcium chloride dihydrate should be chose as specified as the top quality product in HG/T23279 Calcium Chloride for Industrial Use, and the water should meet the requirements in the GB50050 Treatment Standard of Industrial Recycling Cooling Water. The calcium chloride water solution concentration should meet the requirements.

2. Some foreign materials are included in the ethylene glycol water solution and the calcium chloride water solution, which makes the solution obtain a certain corrosivity. When putting it into use, please add corresponding corrosion inhibitor and scale inhibitor according to the water quality testing result. The inhibitor should also meet the requirements of the water quality in cooling process.

The refrigerant water needs complete water quality analysis regularly. The sampling interval should be determined by the actual water quality condition. The PH of the water solution is 7.5-8.5 and the reserved alkalinity is 16-21;

The ethylene glycol and calcium chloride is poisonous, so please be careful to use ethylene glycol water solution or calcium chloride as refrigerant brine, avoiding leakage, overflowing, splashing or contact with cloth and skin.

The dry type and flooded type unit is shipped as a whole, while the evaporative cooled flooded type unit can be separated into evaporative condenser, unit part and connection pipeline to be shipped separately. If limited by the passageway of the machine room, the dry type and flooded type unit can be divided into evaporator, condenser, compressor and electric cabinet to be shipped separately. After their arriving at the customer’s machine room, our company’ assembling personnel will carry out the assembling with the cooperation from customer in water, electricity and tool supply.
