Take me out to the ball-

game. On April 15th it was

Angels 10, Rangers 2. That’s a

bummer, unless of course

you’re an Angels fan, but at

least the sky was sunny and the

drinks were cold!

What did the baseball glove say to

the ball? Catch you later.

Second Place is a Set of

Steak Knives.

Two salesmen were having

coffee and one told the other,

“We’re having an awesome

contest at my office. The rep

who writes the biggest sale for

the quarter gets a trip for two to

the south of France, second

place gets a tailor made suit, and

third place gets a dozen shirts.

The other looked at his coffee

for a moment then replied,

“We’re having a contest at my

office, too. Whoever wins gets

to compete next quarter.”

On www.supercook.com, you can

enter the ingredients you have on

hand and it tells you what meals

you can make. Use a hair dryer to instantly de-fog

the bathroom mirror. Use a clothespin to hold a nail

while hammering. Use your phone to take a picture

of your friend holding the item you

just lent them so you can keep

track of your stuff.

Mother’s Day Trivia

World record for most children:

Valentina Vassilyeva of Russia had 16

sets of twins, 7 sets of triplets, and 4

sets of quadruplets between 1725

and 1765. Utah is the state with the

most children per mom. India cele-

brates Mother’s Day for ten days.

Americans spend

over $2 billion on

flowers each year

for Mother’s Day.

Four babies are born

in the world every

second. NASCAR does not race on

Mother’s Day. Mother’s Day is the

most popular holiday for dining out.

Call your mother: Phone traffic

spikes at least 37% on this day.

Memorial Day is Monday, May 25th.

It became an official federal holiday in the

United States in 1971 as a day of remem-

brance for people who lost their lives while

serving in the armed forces. Many

Americans treat Memorial Day as the

beginning of summer, which is why it has

become such a popular weekend for cook-

outs and outdoor activities.

Over the course of nine months she has come to check on us as

well as doing extra follow up

What part of no don’t you understand?

I don’t care who started it. Nothing’s broken; you're fine.

Because I said so. I will turn this car around!

Money doesn’t grow on trees.

Your face is going to freeze like that.

I don’t care what everyone else is doing.

No one said life was fair.

Close the door; you weren’t born in a barn.

I am not running a taxi service.

If you can’t finish your dinner, you’re too full for dessert.

I’ve told you a thousand times. ‘I don’t know’ is not an answer.

Don’t sit so close to the TV.

Stop crying or I’ll give you something to cry about.
