Post an MBA, you can go for the “non-technical areas” in an IT company, like business nalysis/consulting, pre sales/sales or the traditional areas like HR, marketing, finance etc. Your prior experience in the IT area will make it easier for you to find agood position in the former areas as compared to the latter (traditional) ones.You could look at a regular HR role in any companyincluding IT companies where mostly you’ll startin the recruitment or a generalist role. The otheroption is to look at the role of a business analyst focusedon the HR function in an IT department/firm,where you act as a bridge between the business andthe IT teams and analyse the business needs, requirementsetc.
