The project leveraged the Defense Information andSystem Agency's (DISA) Enterprise Widget Storefront framework to provide a single Service OrientatedArchitecture (SOA) to be used by users throughout the Coast Guard enterprise. My responsibilitIes wereto provide system engineering and technical leadership to a 7 person team, working through Design,Development and Implementation of this new generation system. I served as the United States Coast Guard (USCG) Lead Global Command and Control (GCCS)

Integrated Imagery and Intelligence (13)/Common Operational Picture (COP) Engineer, providing theU.S. Coast Guard with implementation and fielding of GCCS 13 and COP services. These systems suftesconsist of complex Windows and Solaris servers supporting USCG Maritime Interdiction, Anti-Terrorismand DHS security operations. In addition to these primary Command and Control (C2> systems, I alsoconducted extensive integration and testing of Next Generation Systems (NGS) targeted to improveoperations, security and functional capabilities. My responsibilities Included command and controlsystem implementation in the form of complete system build-outs, network communications, system

and data interfaces configuration, architectural documentation and design, Public Key Infrastructure(PKl) certificates, Domain Name Services (DNS), SQL Relational Database replication and final systemverification testing. These efforts were in direct support of the USCG Command, Maritime Intelligenceand Training centers. Additional responsibilities included remaining apprised of current and futuresystems advancements and developing upgrade and maintenance plans. I served on the Joint System integration Center (JSIC) C2 Systems Engineering Team, providing in-depth Command and Control systems support within JSlC/joint Staff J8, C4 Assessments Division.My responsibilities included demonstration and assessment of complex C2 systems functioningin traditional and non-traditional environments. These systems included fielded, pre-fielded anddevelopmental systems. Technical expertise focused on the management, design, implementation,installation, troubleshooting, and system administration of computer-networked environmentsdesigned to replicate operational environments. These projects were in direct support of the war-fighter efforts abroad. Technical details included recreation of experimental and traditional networks,PKI and encryption, commercial/military interoperability, Integrated Intelligence and Imagery (13) andmulti-level security solutions. Responsibilities included

I also assisted with development of shipboard Standard OperatingProcedures (SOPs) and Technical Support Training (TST) documentation while underway and in port.
