This helped us get an idea of what we could do for our video and what to keep in mind in terms of genre. This was so we knew what conventions needed to be included.

Internet ExplorerInternet Explorer We used to gather images to help put together an audience, location and props for our three products.

This helped us get an idea of what we wanted to include in our products. The images we got from the internet helped us apply this to our work.

BloggerBlogger This was to post our work onto our blogs.

Blogger was a key piece of technology throughout all the process of making our products helping us keep our work organised.

Final Cut ExpressFinal Cut Express Used for experimentation at this stage of production.

After looking at other videos we took recci shots of what we may be focusing on when actually filming and then applied effects to see what it would look like.

PinterestPinterest Used to collage images. We used pinterest to make a collage of images of ideas for our video and other key aspects in our products. Then this allowed us to make link from our blogs to the images.

GmailGmail Helped us contact our artist. We used gmail to keep in contact with our aritst. This was useful when we needed permission and help from and ideas and it came in hand during this stage of production.

SD CardSD Card Used to keep and record our footage. We kept two SD cards on us at the time of filming in case we needed to use more memory to keep more shots. But was useful to help us keep our footage ready to be uploaded onto a make after filming.

HD CameraHD Camera Used to film. This camera was a different camera we used to what we had originally used in the past. Being a more modern piece of technology it enabled us to use other features on the camera like the light at the front and also some of the settings on the camera to change certain aspects when filming.

MP3 PlayerMP3 Player Used to play the song whilst filming. We played the song whilst filming so we knew at what exact times we were going to include the shots. Especially when we had lip syncing.

Mobile PhonesMobile Phones Used to keep in contact of the day filming and also a prop used.

It was an essential piece of technology so my partner and I knew when to meet each other and when. We also used it towards the end of our video of a prop the artist used in the narrative.

YoutubeYoutube Used to help us with final cut and upload final edit.

When we were stuck with a particular task we used Youtube to watch tutorials of things we hadn’t used on final cut. We also uploaded our work on there after to put onto our blogs.

PhotoshopPhotoshop Used to make our magazine advert, digipak and font.

We most of our digipak and magazine advert on photoshop as it was easy to use. It helped us make things in a certain way that would appeal which turned out to be good in the end.

Final Cut ExpressFinal Cut Express Used to edit our music video. Final cut was the one technology that was used the most. It was used to make our video from scratch and was such an important piece of technology.

SD Card and HD CameraSD Card and HD Camera Used to import footage onto final cut. We used these two pieces of technology to import on to final cut in order to edit.

FireworksFireworks Helped us crop and cut images. Certain things we did not know how to use on photoshop we carried out first on fireworks to get us started. Then we imported some of the images over on to photoshop to create the rest.
