Technology Tools to Enhance and Improve Student Behavior and Collect DataSTACIE PASSEY, SCHOOL PSYCHOLOGIST WITH THE DSD

Tip #1: Password Protected

Never share your password with anyone, or leave it written on a paper next to your computer.

Use a passphrase or a short sentence (8 characters or longer) that’s easy to remember. For example “I want to see the Pacific Ocean” could become 1WTCtPo*

Use different passwords for different sites and change them often.

Tip #4 “Social” Security and Personal Information

Don’t overshare on social networking sites Out of town; Just came into an inheritance

Screen your texts and phone calls – Don’t respond to texts and phone calls from strangers

Don’t give strangers over the phone access to devices. Think of it as giving your keys to a stranger

Keep your devices secure and protect your data. Lock your computer screen [Windows button + L] and all digital devices, don’t share personal information on social media, don’t lend your computer or your phone, protect your data.
