Portrait Drawing for Teens (for ages 11-17) with Jacob ThompsonDraw from live models! Ideal for homeschoolers!Begin with classroom studies of basic proportion and careful observation to achieve likeness andform. Learn skills which address drawing accuracyand explore modern techniques that focus onexpressiveness through a variety of media andapproaches. Live models will be used in the final 3 sessions. Tuition includes model’s fee.

Corded Bracelets(for ages 12-17) with Donna WeeksNEW! In this one day workshop, enjoy workingwith satin or twisted cord as the base for your project. You choose the beads you like, and stitchthem between the cords to form a ladder design. Add a button at the end for a clasp, and you’refinished. This workshop is easy and fun, but it does require the use of needle and thread. At theworkshop, you will be required to pay a $5 materialsfee which includes everything needed to create thisfun project and use of tools.

Using live drawing demonstrations, discoverhow to draw and design characters in both western and Japanese “manga” comic book styles. Explore techniques for creating engaging characters, costumesand expressions. This workshop includesdiscussion, demonstration of basic storycreation, and page layout. Have a great time creating your own unique comic book story!

Drawing Techniques(for ages 13-17) with Paul KerrisNEW! If you have always wanted to draw, but have lacked the confidence to try, this is the class for you! Have fun exploring a variety of approachable drawing methods including a gridtechnique, a blocking method, and much more! This workshop will allow you to deal with a variety of subject matters.
