In many situations, colour coordinating joinery with metal roofing and plastic rainwater goods adds a look of quality and refinement to the finished project and is increasingly demanded by fashion aware consumers.
Traditionally, colour coordination has been achieved by powder coating or spray applied solvent PU systems, but colour matching relatively small quantities is often expensive and can delay manufacture and installation. For smaller and medium sized manufacturers these additional processes can also involve sub contracting elements of a contract with the consequent complications that can bring.
To overcome these problems, Teknos have developed Teknodur Aqua 3393, a waterborne polyurethane finish, which is readily available in small pack sizes and can be easily and effectively applied in any typical joinery finishing spray facility.
Teknodur Aqua 3393 is a waterborne, two component, opaque coating specifically developed for application onto powder coated, milled aluminium, plastic and GRP substrates.
Teknodur Aqua 3393 is supplied in the same range of standard and popular
opaque colours as Aquatop 2600, Teknos’ market leading exterior joinery finish,simplifying colour coordination.
Being waterborne, it compliments our other Teknos exterior joinery coating products, facilitating safe and efficient production. Teknodur Aqua 3393 offers excellent service life on all tested substrates.
