These include long term indoor and outdoor signage such as shop fronts, vehicle livery and general signage. This soft vinyl ?lm is ideal when conformability is required and the white vinyl is supplied on a blue contrast liner to aid weeding.

This material is ideal for manufacturingtraffic control, warning and information signs. It has an outdoor life of 5 years and meets requirement EN12899-1 and BS 873: Part 6

Oralite 5960 Prismatic is a 5yr highly reflective, flexible andweatherproof film with excellent corrosion and solvent resistance. This product wasspecifically manufactured for use in the traffic control industry, for guidance andinformation signs but has proved ideal to use as a conspicuity film for all Chapter 8 chevron side stripes. It exceeds all current legislation, standard roll length is 25mtrsand is edge sealed to prevent dirt ingress. We also have this material available in full width of 1235mm. Any custom size can be supplied to order .

Microprismatic Re?ective Film

Re?exite VC 612 Flexibright livery ?lms are highly visible at night from more than 500 metres away and greatly increase visibility during bad conditions such as rain or fog. This material is highly conformable to uneven surfaces, is removable (tested up to 2 yrs at present), can be cut on a standard plotter and does not need edge sealing. This material is ideal for Chapter 8 chevrons and meets Police speci?cations. Other widths available on request.

Regulation ECE104 provides guidelines for retro-re?ective markings of Heavy Goods Vehicles and their trailers, allowing other motorists extra time to see the HGV at night or in poor visibility condition. The Re?exite/Oralite product range consists of a full ECE104 Class C approved tapes for rigid sides as well as for curtain sides.

Re?exite VC 212 re?ective livery ?lms are highly visible at night and in adverse weather conditions which make it ideal for Chapter 8 Chevrons. It is considerably lower in price to VC 612 so it can be used in replacement of standard glass bead re?ective for customers wanting a higher re?ective performance at a competitive price. VC 212 can be cut on a plotter and does not need edge sealing.

CHEVRON KITSPre Cut Templates

We can supply chevron kits in various different formats such as full kits which give full coverage of the rear, half and quarter kits. Each kit can be manufactured from either a standard glass bead engineering grade re?ective or a microprismatic re?ective. It is recommended using the microprismatic grade as it is highly re?ective and covers all aspects of the Chapter 8 speci?cation.

OUR ADVICE:

The prismatic type is highly recommended for the manufacture of Chevron Kits as it is substantially more re?ective than Class RA1 glass bead re?ective, as it allows maximum visibility from greater distances. This in turn gives the upmost protection to workers stopping on roads and highways. These ?lms should be compliant with EN12899-1, RA2 or an equivalent micro prismatic.

WINDOW SAFETY FILM100 micron Security Film

This 100 micron clear safety and security ?lm is designed to make glass safer, both by strengthening it against breakage and helping it hold together dangerous shards of shattered glass in situations where breakages occur. This ?lm is tested and certi?ed to EN 12600 Class 2B2 and can be used by companies to address Regulation 14 of the Workplace (Health & Safety and Welfare) Regulations 1992, by upgrading low level glazing for reasons of health and safety. It is ideal for Nurseries and Schools.

Other bene?ts can include improving security by creating a deterrent to “smash and grab”, forced entry crime and improving protection against the vandalism of glass. This ?lm also has a UV screen which can protect window displays from fading in sunlight.

SOLAR CONTROL WINDOW FILM Window Tinting Film

Opalux Solar Control Window Film is an internally ?tted ?lm manufactured for a variety of Solar protection applications. Please note that all privacy ?lms have limitations and to achieve a one way mirror there must be greater light level on the “public side (outside)” of the glass than on the “private side (inside)”. Consequently no one way mirror effect is possible when the light level on the private side is greater that the public side. This occurs in poor exterior light conditions, especially at night times.

Re?ective Silver 20Is a silver re?ective ?lm which can be used in daytime one way privacy applications, for winter heating savings and also offers a 99% UV ?ltering. This ?lm also helps to reduce cooling costs by reducing the load on air conditioning equipment. The ?lm is applied internally and in daytime gives the glass a silver re?ective outside appearance, whilst from the inside the visual effect is a much less noticeable light tint.

Low Mirror Neutral Grey 20This ?lm is used where a neutral appearance is required, and is ideally suited to architecturally sensitive applications such as listed buildings, Schools, Universities and Colleges. This ?lm achieves good solar heat and glare control but can still allow vision both ways. This makes less visual impact than traditional mirror ?lms. The ?lm is applied internally and in daytime gives the glass a neutral grey mirror outside appearance, whilst from the inside the visual effect is a much less noticeable light tint. Also available in lighter tints Neutral Grey 35 and 50.

Grey/Silver Privacy Mirror 10This is a re?ective ?lm which is silver on one side and grey on the other, this material can be used in daytime one way privacy applications to help alleviate the discomfort caused by excessive heat and by glaring re?ection’s off computer screens. This in turn would help to assist in compliance with Workplace (Health, Safety & Welfare) Regulations. This ?lm also screens out 99% of harmful UV rays which prevents the premature fading of internal furnishings.
