Purpose

Server appliance that provides external storage separate from the FPG and

BAC - Provides relational database that is accessed by FPG during fulfillment of

certain OSS functions. - Location based data selection (i.e. Polygons) to

identify which Access Controller (AC) and Provisioning Group (PG) a FAP

should be associated to- Calculation of Over-The-Air Location Area Code (OTA LAC), and Service Area

idicator (SAI) based upon long/lat coordinates from provisioning flows, and

Update IMSI changes within white lists (to keep up with SIM card changes and

their impact within the Femtocell network).

The UMTS-over-IP home base-station or Femtocell connects to the
