or 3:00 pm (refreshments after)Dear Theatre Patron: On behalf of LLT's Board of Directors, I am pleased to invite you to a special presentation on our theatre's major renovation plan that we call “The Third Act”.
The authorization to spend the funds necessary to complete this project was unanimously approved by the members who attended a special Membership meeting on January 25th, 2018. At that meeting, renowned theatre architect Thom Weeks gave a visual presentation of the scope and details of the future plans for the theatre building, and answered questions from attendees. For those of you who missed this informative presentation, Thom has agreed to repeat it on April 10th in the morning at 11:00 am, and again in the afternoon at 3:00 pm, in the theatre’s main auditorium. Refreshments will be provided prior to the morning presentation, and following the afternoon presentation. We encourage all who are interested in the future of your theatre to attend one of these two presentations to understand the magnitude of the project and the reasons for it, the planned schedule of the project, and to learn how you can participate and support this effort. This is an open meeting for the entire community so feel free to bring your friends and to pass this invitation on to any and all who you think may be interested in the future of Lakeside Little Theatre. Love Letters: About the Play The story is of a 50-year correspondence between Melissa Gardner and her childhood-friend-turned-love-interest, Andrew Makepeace Ladd III. A Pulitzer Prize finalist, the play has been performed in theater spaces all over the world, thanks to its simple staging. A touching romance with comedic moments. Reservations are by email at: [email protected] We are located in Riberas del Pilar on the Carretera (Hidalgo 261), which is on the mountainside across from the Catholic Church and in front of the Baptist Church and next to Parker Insurance. Look for the LTH sign when approaching from
