1º Ha de ajustarse al proceso de producción y seguirloexactamente en su disposición constructiva.

2º No ha de contener elementos superfluos queelevarían innecesariamente el coste de suconstrucción.

3º Cualquier inversión adicional a las requeridas por elproceso o por los hombres que lo atienden, solo tienejustificación si es necesaria por otras razones de tipoeconómico, tales como: creación de imagen deempresa, ayuda a las ventas del producto, etc.

4º Hay que tener presente todas las necesidadesauxiliares al proceso. Entre estas están no sólo lasoficinas, sino también los talleres auxiliares paramantenimiento de maquinaria o producción deelementos accesorios necesarios para la fabricación;tratando así de que, dentro de los limites económicos,la producción sea integrada.

5º Como el hombre está  siempre presente en todo elproceso productivo, hay que disponer todas las instalaciones necesarias para que su permanencia en laPlanta Industrial lo sea en las condiciones optimas.

6º Su coste ha de ser igual o inferior al máximo que permitan las condiciones del producto fabricado. Por ello es absolutamente necesario tener previstos todos los costes antes de comenzar la construcción. Las improvisaciones son inaceptables. Dentro de estacondición, puede incluirse el que la Planta Industrial hay que realizarla en el tiempo previsto, ya que cualquier exceso de tiempo para su puesta en marcha representa una doble perdida: la del valor del dinero en el tiempo y la perdida de producción no vendida en el tiempo de retraso.
