No. GGGMU/PROJ/2014-15: MM-CAN:214 Dated :30.07.2014 Sealed tender are hereby invited from the reputed Manufacturer Authorized dealers / suppliers for following equipments and items.

1. Automatic Milking Machine suitable for two Cows / buffalos. (trolley & Fixed type) (Double Head two cow Milking / Single Head One cow Milking / Fixed type Machine for multiple cows)

2. Stainless Steel Milk can of 5 liter capacity with lid.(SS-304) 3. Aluminum Alloy Milk can 40 liter capacity with lid. 4. Electrical / Manual Centrifuge Machine 24 test for milk Testing. 5. Power Chaff Cutter (Electrically operated).

Tender documents including specifications and quantity of requirement of the above items can be obtained from the website i.e. www.gggmu.in / www.omfed.com or from the Corporate Office, Gate Bazar, Berhampur-760001, Ganjam District, Odisha. The Tenders should submit the complete document along with a Bank Draft drawn in favour of the “G.G.G.M.U Ltd” payable at Berhampur for Rs.500/- + VAT 5 % = Rs 525.00 towards non-refundable tender fee. The Vendors / Agencies should submit the complete documents super scribed “Tender for the supply of Equipment ___________________________________________________”on Top cover corner of the envelope should reach the office of the General Manger, G.G.G Milk Union, R.N. Temple Road , Gate Bazar, Berhampur, 760 001, Odisha on or before 1.00PM on 18.08.2014 and tenders will be opened on 18.08.2014 at 03.00 PM in the above Office in presence of the interested tenderers or their authorized representatives. The decision of the General Manager shall be final. Bidders are requested to strictly adhere to specifications given in the tender forms. GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS TO TENDERERS

1. Scope of work - Vendors / Agencies/suppliers are required to supply the item in

quantities shown against each item within an agreed period of time.

2. Tender documents: Tender Documents comprise Tender notice, General Instructions to Tenderers, Form of Tender, General Conditions of Tender, Specification of equipment, price schedule and Specimen Form of Performance Bond. Tenderers should follow the formats given in the Tender document without any alteration for the preparation of the Tender. Each page of the Tender document shall be numbered and signed by the Tender and securely sealed in cover and should be forwarded by registered post addressed to:

The tenderers may personally deposit the tender at the office of GGGMU in the above mentioned address during office hours. The tender document along with Tender Fees may be deposited by bidders by 1.00 p.m dt 18.08.2014 & will be opened at 3.00p.m dt 18.08.2014

3. Tenders shall be made in accordance with this tender document, consisting of

4. Conformity with Tender Condition and Specifications: All the items offered must strictly confirm to the specifications of the equipments and to the contents of this document.

The tenderers shall submit tender document as per the format given at the relevant annexure without any alteration. Failure to submit the tender in the required format will be rejected. Additional information required to be submitted by Tenderers may be attached separately. Tenders submitted over mail or any of the electronic media will not be considered.

5. Documents to be submitted with the Tender: The following Documents should

suitable performance report if any.

Annexure: A

GENERAL CONDITIONS OF TENDER General

Tenderers must confirm with the terms and conditions of the Tender. No plea of lack of information or insufficient information will be entertained at any time.

Tender documents once submitted to GGGMU will not be returned.

No Tender shall be considered unless all the conditions laid down in the document have been strictly fulfilled.

No relaxation or any kind of exemption on tender document cost / EMD deposit / price preference shall be considered.

Power of Procurement Committee to Accept or Reject Offers

The General Manager, GGGMU (herein to be referred as GGGMU) reserves the right to reject any or all Tenders or any portion of the Tender without assigning any reason. The GGGMU may accept any or all items of the Tender and reserves the right to increase or decrease the quantity offered, considering future requirement / need

Tenderers should note that the tender being a composite tender of different equipment, the successful tenderers may be assign to supply any one or more equipment to other sister Milk Unions inside Odisha state or to the Odisha State Co-op. Milk Producers’ Federation Ltd, Bhubaneswar or its different dairy plants or Units (herein to be referred as Omfed.)

GGGMU reserves the right to delete from the Tender any item seems unnecessary.

The Tenderers should be prepared to accept and execute a portion or any item of the

Tender at the rate quoted in the Tender Form against each item. Performance Bond

The successful bidder shall be required to furnish a Performance Bank guarantee for 10% of the contract sum from an approved Nationalized Bank in the name of the GGGMU as security.

In the event of default on the part of the Tenderers, awarded with contract with

GGGMU may terminate the Contract and collect compensation as per the Performance Bond without recourse to law. as per terms & conditions of contract. `

After completion of the warranty period, the Performance Bond will be returned to

supplier.

Minimum Validity Period of Offer

Tenders should be valid and open for acceptance for a period of 90 days from the date of closing of Tenders.

All prices shall be firm and shall not be subject to any price variation within the

validity period of the Offer.

Tenders shall not be withdrawn during the period of validity of the Tender. Bidding Data Sheet / Offer Sheet

Tenderers shall quote prices in Indian Currency for supply and delivery.

Tenderers shall fill in and sign the prescribed form of “Bidding Data Sheet”

Offers shall be liable for rejection if Tenderers fail to submit their offers on the Bidding Data Sheets attached to the official Tender Document.

The price quoted should be the net price after allowing all discounts.

VAT/CST should be shown separately if applicable with the VAT/CST Registration

Number.

The prices quoted should be written clearly in ink or typewritten and must be in figures and repeated in words. If there is a discrepancy between the prices stated in figures and words the prices stated in words will be taken as correct.

Any alteration in the Offers should be initialed by the Tenderers, failure to do so will

result in the Offer being treated as informal and rejected. Guarantee:

The Tenderers guarantees to the GGGMU and Omfed that the items supplied under the Contract will comply strictly with the requirements of the GGGMU/Omfed as per specification. The Tenderers shall further guarantee that all items supplied by the Tenderers will be new, merchandise of the most suitable grade, and fit for their intended purposes.

Delivery and Installation

Delivery and Installation of the items are required within One Month from the date of award. No payment will be made towards installation

The tenderers will be responsible for the proper packing and should transport the

items and to ensure their safety until the equipment/item is delivered and accepted. The equipment to be supplied shall be new and unused at the time of delivery. The

probable date of delivery should be stated at Destination. All other things being equal preference will be given to Offers which specify early delivery. If the General Manager, GGGMU is not satisfied with the delivery period quoted by the successful supplier/s, he may at his discretion decide to split orders among several suppliers.

The total cost is inclusive of Packing, forwarding, Fright, transport, insurance, loading and any other expenses.

Price basis : FOR Delivery at Destination points as per the Purchase Order. Payment Terms

Payments will be made by RTGS / Multicity cheque depending upon successful supply and on production of the invoice/invoices, Certificate of Acceptance by the authorized officer and other relevant documents which are required for the purpose for the payment.

The tenderers shall bear all costs associated with the preparation and delivery of its

tender. The GGGMU will in no case be responsible or liable for those costs.

80% Payment shall be released after receiving of the equipment at site, 10% on installation and satisfactory commissioning at site. Balance 10% after 1 year of satisfactory commissioning. The supplier is also eligible to get 30% advance before supply of equipment against 33.5% bank guarantee. The supplier may also apply for release last payment installment of 10% against performance bank guarantee for equivalent amount from any nationalize bank.

For Milk Can 90% shall be paid on delivery of the items and 10% shall be after 1 year or against performance bank guarantee.

Supply Within Agreed Period

If the contractor fails to supply the items within the time period prescribed in the tender he shall be liable to pay the GGGMU one (1%) percent of the total contract value per every 15 days of delay, subject to a maximum five (5%) percent of the total contract sum.

Annexure: C

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS FOR EQUIPMENTS

MILKING MACHINE (Suitable for two / One animal at a time) (Double Head / Single Head)

Two bucket two cluster fixed, Trolley Mounted Milking Machine / Single Bucket with Single Head

This milking machine comprises of one vacuum generation system (fixed type), two

set of milk can assembly and PVC pipes and fittings.

Vacuum System: The vacuum system assembly comprises of three components. a. Vacuum pump (one no) –The capacity of pump is 225 litter per minute at 50kpa

vacuum suitable for making two cattle at time. b. Vacuum Tank (One No) – Vacuum tank is made of thick MS with a sutable capacity

to store the vacuum. c. Motor (One No) – 1H.P, single phase 1440 R.P.M Motor.

Milk Can Assembly (two nos) : One milk can assembly comprises of following

component. a. Pulstor: Adjustable in the range of 50 to 180 pulse per minute(P.P.M) over an

operating vacuum rage of 30 to 50 kpa. The pulstor is also available for connection to filtered air line, there by further improving internal cleanliness and long term reliability.

b. Milk Claw : Milk claw is the part of milk can assembly where the milk is collected

from the liner (connected to cattle teats) and transferred to milk can through tube. Milk claw capacity is 240 CC with milk inlet of 13x 10mm and outlet connection of 21x16 mm

c. Liner: With each milk can assembly we are giving four numbers of food grade, FDA approved milking liners suitable for cattle teats.

d. SS Teat Cup: The teat cup is made of S.S 304 material suitable to liner. Liners are fitted in test cup assembly.

e. Short Pulsation Tube: With every teat cup short pulsation tube for pulsation of the liners shall be provided.

f. Milk Tube: 1.25 meters of food grade P.V.C transparent milk tube for milk transfer from milk claw to milk can shall be provided.

g. Double Pulsation tube: 1.25 meter of double pulsation tume attached to pulsator and milk claw shall be provided.

h. Pulsator Adopter: One pulsator adopter for every pulsator for every pulsator to attach to milk can pulsator shall be provided.

i. Milk Can: SS 304 make with capacity of 20 liters and thickness shall be provided.

P.V.C Pipe and Fittings: 20 metes of P.V.C pipe and fittings with following components shall be provided.

a. Vacuum Gauge: One number vacuum gauge of dial size four inches with marking

from 0 to 100KPA. b. Vacuum Regulator: For the regulation of vacuum at constant rate one spring type

vacuum regulator shall be provided. c. Vacuum Valve: 6 nos vacuum valves shall be provided to make connection with

P.V.C pipe and milk cans. Suitable Model for Fixed Type Milking Machine with Multiple Cows is also quoted with specification details.

Power Flat Chaff Cutter operates on 2hp single phase motor. These cutters
