All parameters of the TENEO 317 have been analysed and designed to reach the best balance for enhanced speed, safety, usability and reliability. Most features of the TENEO 317, such as the new eyetracker, the spot distribution and the plume evacuator have been dramatically improved. This leads to a smoother procedure with excellent and predictable results.

ACE EyetrackerA faster, new generation eyetracker incorporating a co-axial camera designed for precision and safety. A highly sophisticated multi-dimensional eyetracker is key to ensuring low retreatment rates.

New spot distribution of Cold Ablation Treatment cards, used in the past, no longer control the shape of the truncated Gaussian laser beam. In the TENEO 317 a novel Optical Element inside the laser arm creates the shape of the laser beam. The low energy soft spot is now 1mm and overlaps only once every 16 pulses, therefore minimizing the thermal e� ect. This, combined with the performance of the eyetracker, leads to smooth ablation, safety and predictability.

New Plume Evacuator The eight cones distributed homogenously over 270° provide controlled aspiration and contribute to uniform laser beam delivery. The integrated plume evacuation system clears out the operating fi eld during the entire ablation process making the procedure more pleasant, especially for the patient.

New Stabilizing Energy System (SES)Due to the sealed and nitrogen fl ushed design of the beam path, pulse energies are stabilised making the system less sensitive to environmental conditions.A closed-loop energy check system verifi es pulse energy at di� erent control points, adjusting the pulse energy throughout the whole treatment. This ensures the correct pulse energy is maintained at all times, reducing the fl uence test to just once a day.

SuperSyncAllows for a perfectly matched scanner, eyetracker and laser, to ensure that all aspects of the laser perform seamlessly.

ZYOPTIX HDZYOPTIX HD is a wavefront-based personalized aspheric procedure that takes into account the exact topology of each individual eye. It provides an advanced treatment of pre-existing Higher-Order Aberrations (HOAs), minimizing induced spheri-cal aberrations. The sophisticated ZYOPTIX HD treatment enables you to o� er your patients high vision quality under all daily life conditions, keeping retreatment rates low.

PROSCAN The PROSCAN algorithm reduces undesired induced spherical aberrations, while preserving the natural aspheric shape of the cornea. This treat-ment can be customized according to the patient’s specifi c K and Q values.
