TRAVELINFORMATION

WITH ANY EVENT, THE BUILD UP OF TRAFFIC AROUND THE VENUE CAN BE QUITE HEAVY SO PLEASE ALLOW PLENTY OF TIME FOR TRAVEL.

TRAIN

There is a frequent service between Waterloo and Wimbledon during The Championships. Travel time between is approximately 12 minutes.

FACILITIES

The Gatsby Club is situated in the grounds of Wimbledon Lakeside Cricket Club. The entrance is opposite Gate 5 of The AELTC, located on Church Road, Wimbledon, South West London.

Due to ongoing improvements to No.1 Court during this year’s Tournament, there will be minimal or no cover on court seats. Please come prepared for hot, cold or wet weather.

TAXIS

The nearest taxi ranks are located outside the main gate of The AELTC, Southfields Underground Station and Wimbledon mainline station.

UNDERGROUND

The nearest underground station is Southfields on the District Line. For various connections please consult a London underground map.

FREE SHUTTLE BUS

There is a complimentary shuttle bus from Southfields underground station which will transfer you to and from The Wimbledon Experience or the Gatsby Club. Look out for The Wimbledon Experience logo on the shuttle bus.

The complimentary service shuttle bus times are as follows:- 10.00am - 1.00pm 5.00pm – 9.00pm Runs every day of The Championships

Please note there will be no busses running outside of these times. The buses run approximately every 15-20 minutes. Traffic can be bad with delays of over an hour and sometimes the option of walking is the quickest (approx 15 minutes).

WIMBLEDON WET WEATHER POLICY

Details of the Raincheck Policy introduced in 2001 are as follows and apply to all 13 scheduled days of play at The Championships, including the final Sunday.

You will be able to claim the following if applicable:

• If there is less than one hour’s play because of rain on the court, the original purchasers of the tickets for that court, on that day will be refunded with the face value of those tickets

• If there is more than one hour’s play, but less than two hours’ play, refunds will be limited to half the face value on the ticket

• The Referee’s decision on how much play has been achieved will be final• Only the original purchasers are eligible for refunds under this policy• Refunds will be paid automatically; please do not contact the AELTC• Separate terms and conditions apply: a) to Debenture Holders as notified by The All England Lawn Tennis Ground plc. b) to any extra days of play.

WIMBLEDON TICKET USAGE POLICY

• You must ensure that packages (whatever type of ticket is included) are not sold where you know (or ought reasonably to have known) that such packages would be for use in connection with the promotion of products. This restriction must, in any event, be highlighted to every customer of yours prior to purchase.

• You must also ensure that packages (whatever type of ticket is included) are not sold to persons, firms or companies who you know (or ought reasonably to have known) intend to use such packages in draws, raffles or competitions or as business incentives. This restriction must, in any event, be highlighted to every customer prior to purchase.

• Where a customer wishes to purchase a package from you which it intends to auction for charitable purposes, AELTC shall not prohibit such use provided that you ensure that the winner of any such auction is notified of the restrictions governing the package and the tickets included therein and is specifically told that the tickets and packages cannot be resold and must only be used by friends and family of the auction winner. You must also ensure that the winner provides, if requested to do so, the names of the attendees using such tickets and packages.

• Debenture tickets are the only tickets to The Championships which are freely transferable. All other tickets purchased are strictly non-transferable and are only to be used by the purchaser and his or her guests.

DO YOU SEND COURT TICKETS OUT IN THE POST?

No, we give all court tickets out on the day during lunch for The Gatsby Club packages and upon arrival at reception for The Wimbledon Experience packages. As you will appreciate,

WHERE IS THE BEST PLACE TO MEET MY GUESTS?

The best place to meet your guests is at your designated table. Our hostesses will escort you and your guests to this location whenever they arrive.

DO I NEED TO DO ANYTHING BEFORE THE EVENT?

Prior to your attendance you will need to assign e-vent documentation to each attending guest.Detailed instructions of how to do this will be emailed to yourself. Please note, for security reasons all guests names must be added before the event, otherwise it could result guests being refused entry.

WHO SHOULD I INFORM IF MY GUESTS HAVE DIETARY REQUIREMENTS?

Guest’s dietary requirements can be added via ‘My Account’. You can access my account here: https://www.wimbledon-experience.com/sign-in.aspx?returnUrl=../sign-in.aspx.Any severe intolerances or halal requests need to be made one week before your arrival. We always do our best to accommodate all dietary requirements, but requests made less than 48 hours before attendance cannot be guaranteed.

HOW FAR IS THE GATSBY CLUB FROM THE GROUND?

The Gatsby Club is less than a two minute stroll from the ground. There is a shuttle buggy located outside The Gatsby Club should anyone feel they need a lift.

IF I COME BY LONDON UNDERGROUND, HOW DO I GET TO THE GATSBY CLUB?

There is a shuttle bus that runs between The Gatsby Club and Southfields Underground Station. We run a constant shuttle service in the morning and afternoon but heavy traffic at peak times can slow the service down.

CAN YOU ENSURE THAT ALL OF MY DEBENTURE SEATS WILL BE TOGETHER?

Debenture tickets are sold in pairs, but we will try our utmost to seat you next to, or near to each other. As an official supplier, our ticket provision from The AELTC is very good. Seats are allocated to clients a few days prior to the date you are due to attend.

WHO WILL I SEE PLAYING?

The order of play is not known until the evening before and is produced by The AELTC Referee.Log on to www.wimbledon.com for the latest schedule of play. Alternatively, you can download the Wimbledon app for all the latest news.

WILL I RECEIVE ANY INFORMATION AT MY HOTEL?

When you arrive at your hotel, you will recieve an event information pack. That will provide you with all the nessesary information about your package and day at Wimbledon.

CAN I BRING MY BRIEFCASE/LUGGAGE INTO THE GROUND?

Strict security procedures will be carried out at The Championships, including bag searches. All bags will be restricted to a maximum size of 16î x 12î x 12î (40cm x 30cm x 30cm). No hardsided cases (including briefcases) will be allowed into the grounds. Larger bags may be deposited in the left luggage cabin outside the ground.

HOW DO I GET FROM MY HOTEL TO THE WIMBLEDON EXPERIENCE / THE GATSBY CLUB

The Wimbledon Experience provides you with a Travelcard on the Underground network. This is valid for travel after 09.30am until midnight anywhere in Zones 1-6 in London. Just find the nearest underground station to your hotel (ask your hotel concierge) and head to Southfields Underground Station on the District Line (Green Line on a Tube map).

CAN I PURCHASE AFTERNOON TEA?

Afternoon tea MUST be ordered and paid for prior to your arrival at The Wimbledon Experience. However it is included in The Gatsby Club packages

There are no left luggage facilities inside the ground, however, we can accomodate a small amount of luggage in The Wimbledon Experience or Gatsby Club.

WHERE IS THE WIMBLEDON EXPERIENCE AND THE GATSBY CLUB LOCATED?

The Wimbledon Experience is situated next to The Gatsby Club, in the grounds of Wimbledon Lakeside Cricket Club. The entrance is opposite gate 5 of The All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club on Church Road in Wimbledon, Southwest London. Follow the signs for Car Park 5.

WHAT ARE THE WIMBLEDON EXPERIENCE OPENING HOURS?

The Wimbledon Experience will open at 10.30am and close at 2.30pm, reopening again at 4.00pm for afternoon tea and closing at 7.00pm. Please note that afternoon tea will need to be ordered at least five days prior to your attendance.

The Gatsby Club will open at 10.30am and closes at 7.00pm.

IS THE WIMBLEDON EXPERIENCE CLUB BUFFET LUNCH INCLUDED IN EVERY TOUR?

Buffet lunch is only included in The Championship Tour and The Wimbledon Experience UK Package – it is not included in the Baseline Tour, however there is an upgrade option at £80 (inc vat) per person. Please contact our events team should you wish to upgrade to a buffet lunch.Lunch is served between 11.30am – 2.00pm (no admittance after this time).
