Club is more than a place to exercise. Amenities include 6 indoor and 6
outdoor championship tennis courts, a state-of-the-art fitness training center,
2 swimming pools, over 50 land and aquatic group fitness classes weekly,

PRIVATE & SEMIPRIVATE LESSONS For those in search of more individualized attention and schedule flexibility, private lessons or semiprivate lessons (two players) are perfect for rapid improvement. Customized lessons are available for all players from beginner to advanced levels and will focus on every aspect of the game.

YOUTH CLASSES | QUICKSTART / 10 & UNDER TENNISIt is an exciting play format for learning tennis, designed to bring kids into the game by utilizing specific
equipment, court dimensions and modified scoring—all tailored to their age, size and ability. Kids
develop quicker utilizing this format by developing rally skills. Technical skills are developed faster
giving kids the appropriate equipment to have fun and succeed.

Singles FLEX LeaguePlayers receive a schedule and arrange their matches with their opponent at a mutually agreed upon day and time. Currently, this
includes both men and women.

LEAGUESAdult tennis leagues are available for men and women in singles, doubles and mixed doubles. Players pay
a one-time league fee of $7.00 (for administration purposes) and then pay a court fee each time they play.
Subs pay as they play. Nonmembers pay an additional $15 guest fee on the days they play. Schedules are
distributed prior to the start of the league and a scorebook is located in the lower level near the court
entrance for reporting their scores. At the end of each session we do a league social and hand out gift
certificates for the winners.

BEGINNER TENNIS 123
For players with little to no experience or for those who have been out of the game for many years and are looking to get back into tennis. These drills are nonthreatening and incorporate all facets
of the game including technique, footwork, strategy, point play and more.

PICKLEBALLWhat is pickleball? Pickleball is a paddle sport combining elements of tennis, badminton and Ping-Pong
using a paddle and a plastic ball with holes. It is a game that is appropriate for players of all ages and
skill levels. Rules for pickleball are simple, making it a great introductory sport. It can also be quite the
challenging, fast-paced and competitive game when people become more experienced at playing.
PICKLEBALL IS IDEAL FOR ALL SKILL LEVELSBecause pickleball rules are so similar to Ping-Pong, anyone can learn how to play the game. Whether
you’re a beginner who just wants to learn a new sport for fun, or you’re a seasoned player who craves the
thrill of more competitive play, pickleball offers something for everyone.

SPORTS CORE TENNIS ACADEMY SUMMER CAMPDesigned to help develop talent in a safe and fun learning environment, Sports Core Tennis Academy is
for players ages 8-18. Tennis Academy was created to provide top-level teaching of both the physical and

KIM EVANSTennis Professional
Kim Evans has taught tennis for over 20 years—during which time he developed
teaching methods that stress "fast-track results" for individuals looking for immediate
improvement in the level of their game. Kim's lessons concentrate on "match play"
type drills and a strategic understanding of a player’s strengths/weaknesses and
how to best utilize those strengths for better results. Kim has coached numerous
players who have achieved great results at the WIAA and USTA levels. Two of his
students made it to the finals of the WIAA state high school championships, and
he also had two Kohler girls qualify for the state championships as freshmen. Kim’s
playing background includes two years as the #1 ranked player in the Florida section
in the men’s 45 division. He also played on the Florida Intersectional Team that competed against other USTA
Sections in Tucson, Arizona. Kim was the men’s varsity coach for Fond du Lac High School for seven years as
well as the men’s and women’s head varsity coach at the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh.

ALEXANDRA BAYLISSTennis Professional
Alexandra Bayliss was born and raised in Sheboygan and began playing tennis at the
Sports Core when she was three years old. Alexandra spent countless hours on the
tennis court practicing with Sports Core tennis professionals as well as her dad and
two older brothers. Her mom drove Alexandra to hundreds of USTA tournaments which
she began playing in when she was just eight years old. Alexandra played high school
tennis at Sheboygan North and qualified for the division I state tournament in singles
all four years.
After high school, Alexandra continued her tennis career at UW-Whitewater where she became the most
accomplished tennis player in school history. She set the all-time wins record by winning 211 matches in four
years. Alexandra earned All-American honors in singles and doubles and qualified for the division III NCAA
tournament three times. As a senior, she was the Central Region Player of the Year in singles and was ranked
#13 in the nation. Her team qualified for the NCAA tournament every year and reached the Sweet 16 in 2011
and 2013. Alexandra was elected to be a team captain and was a two-time MVP.
As well as being an experienced player, Alexandra is a USPTR-certified tennis instructor. She was also the
Sheboygan North girls' tennis assistant coach during the 2015 season, and she has worked with many of the
top players in this area. Furthermore, Alexandra worked as a camp counselor at the Nelson-Feller and UW-
Whitewater tennis camps for five years. Tennis is Alexandra's passion, and she is excited to share her love of
the game with Sports Core members.

STUART NETTTennis Professional
Stuart Nett grew up just a few miles west in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin Stuart played
four years of number-one doubles at Fond du Lac High School. He's a multiple-
time state qualifier, leaving Fondy with the second-most wins in school history. He
attended NAIA division 1 Cardinal Stritch University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on a
tennis scholarship. At Stritch, he was a two-time team captain and part of a top-10
nationally ranked team. Stuart helped his team to their first conference championship
and national tournament berth in school history. After college tennis, Stuart began
coaching boys and girls tennis at Fond du Lac High School, where he coached
multiple state qualifiers. Coaching has come naturally to Stuart. He focuses on developing high-performance
players. With experience playing against players from junior level to ATP point holders, he feels he can instill
in his students a very high level of strategy, technique and mental toughness as well as a love for the game.

MCKENNAH EDWARDSTennis Professional
Influenced and encouraged by her parents and uncle, tennis has been a big part of
McKennah’s life from the time she was four years old. She began competing in state-level
and Midwest tournaments at a young age, was ranked #1 in Wisconsin in five different age
brackets, and placed first in the state open and closed events. In addition, McKennah was
invited to represent Wisconsin in the Junior Davis Cup four times. While at Fond du Lac
High School, McKennah finished in sixth place for division 1 as a sophomore. After high
school, she attended Saint Mary’s University in Winona, Minnesota, where she set school
records in both singles and doubles. McKennah’s goal is to instill a level of excitement for
tennis in Sports Core members of all ages and skill levels.
CASEY JOHNSONTennis Professional
Casey Johnson, a senior at Kohler High School, has been playing tennis since he was
five years old. Throughout his tennis career, he has been ranked first in the state for
10s, 12s, 14s and 16s and number two for 18s. Johnson, a three-time nationals qualifier,
was a two-time state champion his sophomore and junior years. He’s considering
offers from division I and II colleges. Casey is a natural tennis teacher who focuses on
developing high-performance kids. He is excellent at developing strategy, work ethic
and court awareness at a very high level.

CANCELLATION POLICYThe following applies to drop-ins and session packages:
• For medical reasons, a prorated refund/credit less 10 percent processing charge shall be given from the
date the refund is requested when accompanied by a doctor’s statement explaining the nature of the
disability or injury and duration
• A prorated refund or credit shall be issued to a student who is asked to withdraw from a class due
to not meeting entry level and duration
• There is a minimum and maximum enrollment for each class
• A cancellation is required 24 hours in advance or the participant will be charged in full
