C: Jamie and Finn.

T: Whose record is better?

C: Finn’s is better.

C: But it’s only five minutes.

T: Joy’s tired. She wants to give up.

Do you want Joy to give up?

C: No, she will try again.

T: Who will help her?

C: Jamie and Finn.

T: They are a team.

What do they suggest?

C: Finn tells her to try blowing out candles.

And, Jamie wants her to blow up

balloons.

T: But she chooses what to do.

It’s a 180-centimeter tall tomato tower.

T: Three children start building a tower

together. How tall is it?

C: Seventy centimeters.

T: Not enough! Keep going!

C: They keep putting tomatoes on.

T: The weather’s hot, so they need to cool

off. What are they going to do?

C: They will play with the hose.

T: How did it affect Joy’s cat to play with

the hose?

C: He hates water, and runs into the tower.

T: So the tower’s ruined!

C: Right.

T: Tomatoes are all over the grass, and she

picks up a tomato. Does she like tomatoes?

C: No, she doesn’t.

T: What about Finn?

C: He likes tomatoes.

T: She throws the tomato to Finn. Does he

catch it?

C: No, he misses it.

T: How does Jamie think about catching a

tomato?

C: He thinks it’s easy.

T: Does he easily catch it?

C: No. He misses it.

T: While they throw and catch tomates,

who comes?

C: Mom. She was hit by a tomato.

T: She’s not happy.

T: What’s Joy’s idea to make mom feel
