Coles Sports for Schools Coles Sports for Schools is back again. For every $10 you spend at Coles you will receive a voucher to put in the Salt Ash P.S collection box. You can find these at Coles checkouts or in our school office. If you shop online at Coles just select Salt Ash P.S and a digital voucher will be sent to our school. P&C AGM The P&C will be holding their Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Thursday 22nd March at 1pm in the library. All positions are now declared vacant. All welcome. See you there! Kiss and Drop zone Kiss and Drop Zones are designed for your convenience and for your child’s safety. Designed for quick entry and exit, these zones minimise congestion and risk when used properly by all parents and carers. These zones operate under the same conditions as no parking zones, which means you may stop to drop off or pick up children for a maximum of 2 minutes. You're required to remain in, or within 3 me-tres of your vehicle. Please be mindful of these zones when picking up and dropping off your children. Rangers are patrolling these areas during school times. Please also remember that students are only to be dropped and picked up from the front gate (Salt Ash Ave) and the bus bay gate. The back carpark gate will be closed for the safety of our students. A teacher will be available to walk bike riders through if necessary. Combined Permission Notes Combined permission notes are now outstanding. Thank you to the parents that have already returned their child’s note. If you haven't returned your child’s note could you please return it before the end of the week. If you have misplaced the note please contact the office and we will send another note home. Swimming Carnival Congratulations to all of our students who participated in the Swimming Carnival last Wednesday. Whether it was in the novelty events or races students were earning many points for their houses. I was extremely impressed by the effort that all stu-dents were showing. Our school values of Positive Respectful and Safe Learners were displayed by everyone all day. There was a lot of healthy competition on the day and great sportsmanship demonstrated by many students. A big thank you to our parent helpers for timekeeping on the day and Mrs Smailes and Mr Collier for their organisation. This year, 5 of our students were successful in making the qualifying times and are off to the Zone Swimming Carnival on Friday February 23rd. Congratulations Gabby Rooney, William Liston-Smith, Riley Creedon, Tara Kenny and Lily Peters!
