“Our School...Your Children...Their Future”

Dear Parents & Carers,

As week 7 disappears I want to start with a huge thank you to our many parent volunteers. During 2017, our school will once again take part in the ICAS (International Competitions and Assessment for Schools)program.

The following table shows application Closing dates

and costs.

ICAS does not test recall of curriculum content, so students do not need to study for it. The assessment reports on a student’s higher order thinking and problem solving skills.

If you are interested in your child participating in the program please send a note to me and I will arrange further information. Mrs Michael

I’m starting to put a roster together for the sports

carnival (Wednesday 21st June). We will need lots of

helpers for the sausage sizzle and over the coun-

ter sales in the canteen. If you can help, call in and

see me at the canteen or call me on 0429 951 665.

The good eating pie has been

replaced with Four n Twenty

Traveller Pie. The price remains the

same.

Thank you. Amanda Lewis

Agenda for Upcoming Meeting The agenda for the upcoming P&C Meeting includes: Proposed Early Bus changes Reports from the Canteen, Band,

Uniform Shop and EOOSH. The meeting is at 7pm, EPS Staffroom (down the hall from the front office).

ALL ARE WELCOME!

And once again…. Attention Early Arriving Bus Parents!!! The P&C have had some productive input from Paul Toole, MP as well as Transport for NSW in the last week and we think we are getting closer to a conclusion! All parents who have been contacted by their bus company recently in regards to proposed changes to morning bus timeta-bles are especially invited to the meeting above to give input into finding a solution.

Thumbs up to the students of Eglinton

who sang their own school

song with great enthusi-

asm and pride a fortnight

ago at Friday’s assembly . This was

without any piano accompaniment!!!
