From the Principal’s Desk End of Term - Happy and Safe Holiday It's hard to believe we have reached the end of Term 3 already. I would like to wish all of our families a safe and happy holiday period and look forward to everybody returning refreshed in a couple of weeks for what is looking like an extremely busy Term 4. Please keep a close eye on the calendar next term as there is so much happening and we don't want any of our students missing out on wonderful opportunities. It is also important to return permission notes/money by the due dates so students don't miss out on participating in planned activities. PBL Reward - Movie Morning Congratulations to all of our students who have been rewarded with a movie morning today after filling our CARES box at last weeks assembly. We are well on track to fill our final box in Term 4 and receive our annual rewards day, which is yet to be determined. It is so wonderful to see the large majority of our students engaging in our CARES Values every day. Keep working hard kids!!! Tell Them From Me Surveys In the first week of Term 4, students in Years 4 - 6 will participate in the Tell Them From Me surveys which will provide us with valuable feedback about learning, school culture and other aspects of school. Notes were sent home a couple of weeks ago and only need to be returned if you wish your child to be excluded from participating in the survey. If you have any questions about the Tell Them From Me surveys, please don't hesitate to give me a call. Kinder Orientation Morning Our Kinder Orientation morning is scheduled for Wednesday 16 October (Week 1 Term 4) commencing at 10am. This information morning will include a session for new Kinder parents while the students will visit their 2020 classrooms for the morning session. Please feel free to come along and ask questions, purchase uniforms and meet some of the amazing staff who will be here to assist you as your child begins school. John Ireland – Principal

We have several outstanding results and a number of students will be competing at the State Athletics Carnival in Sydney in November. Our Senior girls relay team came 2nd in the relay finals. Well done Alexis Slater, Sophie Boorer, Olivia Cowan and Beatrice Thibault. Braydon Nean came 1st in the senior boys discus. Brandi Frewin came 3rd in the junior girls discus. Kiarni De Jong came 1st in the 10 years girls 100m. Olivia Cowan came 3rd in the senior girls shotput. Alexis Slater came 2nd in the 200m, 1st 100m and 1st in the long jump. Playground Paintings There was a bit of excitement on our K-2 playground on Wednesday as we were getting our new playground games painted onto the K-2 Ashphalt! The results are amazing with the students being able to play on it for the first time today. We also had new handball courts painted as well as this has become quite a popular lunchtime activity. Thank you must go to our P&C for contributing to this project.
