Safety instructions
Fundamentals
Cleaning unitThis system cleans the net with water at very high pressure. It is important that hoses are kept away from sharp edges to prevent damage and leakages during use and storage. Do not expose the hoses or cables to any type of mechanical strain.
Use the tube frame or the lifting points when handling or lifting the cleaning unit, and let the hoses hang freely from the unit without any force.
Under use
Learn how to stop the machine if an emergency situation occurs.

Before startupFlush all tubes and hoses with high-pressure water before the first startup of a new cleaning unit. This must be done before the nozzles are mounted!
Ensure that the nozzles are mounted correctly, and the threads are filled with grease.
Check the oil level on the high-pressure water generator.
Ensure there is enough diesel on the high-pressure water generator for the intended operations.
Check the high-pressure water generator for dirty oil-, diesel-, and water inlet filters.
Ensure that all hoses and cables are connected correctly and according to the wiring diagram, and are without damages.
Check that all hoses are arranged correctly before the cleaning unit is lifted into the water.
Ensure that all water valves are in the right position.
Ensure that the cleaning unit is leveled in container, resting on the bottom plate with the tracks free from the surface.
Have the operation plan/cleaning plan with documented obstacles available close to the control panel.
All loose or slack ropes must be tightened or removed from the net if they prevent normal operation of the cleaning unit.
Lifting the cleaning unit into the waterStart with the hoses reeled on deck.
Attach the lifting device to the tube framework or lifting lugs.
Carefully lift the cleaning unit up and lower it next to the net wall.
Lower it into the water.
Add hoses in required lengths.
Prepare startup of high-pressure water generator.
Start high-pressure water generatorEnsure that the cleaning unit and the hoses is are in a sensible position.
Start the generator.
The recommended water pressure is between 260 and 290 bar, with a water flow of 140 to 190 liters pr. min, and 1300 to 1500 rpm.
Ensure that the cleaning unit presses against the net.

After useStop the high-pressure generator.
Connect the lifting device in the tube frame or lifting lugs.
Lift the cleaning unit out of the water and into the flushing container.
Reel all hoses in a safe place.
De-connect high-pressure water hose.
Cleaning after useConnect the high-pressure water connector to a freshwater outlet and flush.
In sub-zero temperatures it is necessary to add an antifreeze agent to the water to prevent hoses, tubes, and nozzles form freezing.
MaintenanceContamination of the high-pressure water from the pump can clog the nozzles and reduce the efficiency of the system. Remove the nozzles and flush all hoses and tubes with water regularly.
