After several re-installs and serial errors I finally got it to work and am now currently downloading updates = ) I’ll list step by step of what I did in order t o help those out there that might have had the same problems. I’m using an OSX 10. 7.5 Lion Macbook BTW Step 1. Mount or Burn the ISO. I used Disk Utility. Step 2. Disable Your Internet Connection Step 3. Open your hosts file by opening a terminal window and typing “sudo nano /p rivate/etc/hosts” without the quotes. Type in your password. Now verify that the f ollowing lines are NOT listed otherwise your serial will not work. 127.0.0.1 lmlicenses.wip4.adobe.com 127.0.0.1 lm.licenses.adobe.com Step 4. Install CS6 Master Collection. When it asks whether you have a serial or would like to use a trial, select “I have a Serial”. Use the Key Generator, to gene rate a Serial Number. The Key Generator is inside the ISO but can also be downlo aded here: http://pirateproxy.net/torrent/7399196/ADOBE.CS6.0.MASTER.COLLECTION.WIN.OSX.KEY GEN-XFORCE Input the serial and remember not to close out of the Key Generator! When the er ror “Please connect to the Internet and retry” shows up, click on “connect later”. Step 5. After everything is installed, launch any application. I used Photoshop. Adobe Application Manager will pop up and ask you to validate your serial but w ill not detect an internet connection. Confirm that you have a “connection problem” and “activate offline”. A request code will be generated. Step 6. Go back to your Key Generator window and input the request code. For me, copy and paste did not work so I just typed in each character. If you are havin g trouble distinguishing certain characters like I did, just open textedit or wo rd and paste the code there and change the font to where you can recognize the c haracters better. Step 7. Click on the “Gen. Activation” button to get your activation code. Input the activation code. If the Key Generator keeps giving you “Invalid Request Code” error s, Double-check every character to make sure they are correct! Step 8: Do not worry about running the Osx/disable_activation_osx file. I couldn’t get the damn thing to work. Instead, just open your hosts file like you did in step 3 by opening terminal and typing: “sudo nano /private/etc/hosts” without the qu otes. Enter your password. Paste the following lines in at the end of that file: # Adobe Blocker 127.0.0.1 lmlicenses.wip4.adobe.com 127.0.0.1 lm.licenses.adobe.com 127.0.0.1 3dns.adobe.com 127.0.0.1 3dns-1.adobe.com 127.0.0.1 3dns-2.adobe.com 127.0.0.1 3dns-3.adobe.com 127.0.0.1 3dns-4.adobe.com 127.0.0.1 activate.adobe.com 127.0.0.1 activate-sea.adobe.com 127.0.0.1 activate-sjc0.adobe.com 127.0.0.1 activate.wip.adobe.com

After several re-installs and serial errors I finally got it to work and am now currently downloading updates = ) I’ll list step by step of what I did in order to help those out there that might have had the same problems. I’m using an OSX 10.7.5 Lion Macbook BTW

Step 1. Mount or Burn the ISO. I used Disk Utility.

Step 2. Disable Your Internet Connection

Step 3. Open your hosts file by opening a terminal window and typing “sudo nano /private/etc/hosts” without the quotes. Type in your password. Now verify that the following lines are NOT listed otherwise your serial will not work.

127.0.0.1 lmlicenses.wip4.adobe.com127.0.0.1 lm.licenses.adobe.com

Step 4. Install CS6 Master Collection. When it asks whether you have a serial or would like to use a trial, select “I have a Serial”. Use the Key Generator, to generate a Serial Number. The Key Generator is inside the ISO but can also be downloaded here:

http://pirateproxy.net/torrent/7399196/ADOBE.CS6.0.MASTER.COLLECTION.WIN.OSX.KEYGEN-XFORCE

Input the serial and remember not to close out of the Key Generator! When the error “Please connect to the Internet and retry” shows up, click on “connect later”.

Step 5. After everything is installed, launch any application. I used Photoshop. Adobe Application Manager will pop up and ask you to validate your serial but will not detect an internet connection. Confirm that you have a “connection problem” and “activate offline”. A request code will be generated.

Step 6. Go back to your Key Generator window and input the request code. For me, copy and paste did not work so I just typed in each character. If you are having trouble distinguishing certain characters like I did, just open textedit or word and paste the code there and change the font to where you can recognize the characters better.

Step 7. Click on the “Gen. Activation” button to get your activation code. Input the activation code. If the Key Generator keeps giving you “Invalid Request Code” errors, Double-check every character to make sure they are correct!

Step 8: Do not worry about running the Osx/disable_activation_osx file. I couldn’t get the damn thing to work. Step 9: Close the hosts file but MAKE SURE TO SAVE THE NEW CHANGES FIRST! It would be wise to verify that the changes were saved by re-opening the hosts file and double checking.

Step 10: Everything should work fine and now re-enable your internet and you’re ready to update. I opened Indesign and went to Help/Udpates to run the update manager.Hope that helps, a few things to keep in mind is be patient and take your time with the directions. If you keep getting “Invalid Serial” errors, you are most likely typing something in wrong.
