30.5hrs a week by Valuation Plus from April 2003 to 24September
2004 as a Yaluefs Assistant to myself and is leaving as she was
unable to work fulltimewhen this became a requirement due to
business growth.Her duties as a Valuer's Assistant were to be part
of the valuation process and help with compilingreports, order
Titles, download rates and rateable valuations online, and set up
jobs in a valuers' specialistprotram ValBiz. She also set up Word
file and entered legal descriptions and to whom the report is to
beaddressed, as well as enter land description from the title and
locality descriptions as well as base data.She also managed the
digital photographs in XP Explore and worked with Excel. She also
helped run theoffice and answered the telephone and wrote letters
as necessary, as directed. She went also to the photoshop and
photocopy shop and did the banking and other associated tasks.
I found her to be interested in the various facets of the
valuation process and good at research on thelnternet and using new
software (including the LINZ Title searchint protram, which Helena
installed andoperated). I have appreciated her input. Her last
additional task over the last four week was to prepare aProcedures
Manual to hand over to a new fulltime sraff member, which she wrote
with diligence, andduring this last week to teach the various task,
which she taught with enthusiasm.I have enjoyed her wide-ranging
interests, perception and her company. I wish her all the very best
in herchosen career or further study, and feel assured that she
will apply herselfand excel.
