QUALIFICATION CARDStudents will receive a business sized card which confirms their qualification.     The initialissuing of this card is covered in the course fees.   There is a $10.00 card fee for any replacement card requests.

Learn to test portable electrical appliances and equipment

In many workplaces, portable electrical appliances and equipment must be tested and inspected on a regular basis.Having the necessary skills to do this is essential in certain workplace roles. Designed for non-electrical tradespeople,this course will give you hands-on training so that you can maintain, test and tag portable electrical appliancesyourself.

Note: You may need to buy a Continuity and Insulation Resistance Tester (or Leakage Current Tester) and SafetySwitch Tester to perform this work, depending upon the type of equipment being tested. This equipment is availablefrom electrical wholesalers.
