The initial issuing of this card is covered in the course fees. There is a $10.00 card fee for any replacement card requests. Having the necessary skills to do this is essential in certain workplace roles. Designed for non-electrical tradespeople, this course will give you hands-on training so that you can maintain, test and tag portable electrical appliances yourself. Note: You may need to buy a Continuity and Insulation Resistance Tester (or Leakage Current Tester) and Safety Switch Tester to perform this work, depending upon the type of equipment being tested. This equipment is available from electrical wholesalers.
