The Texas Heritage Committee (THC)

Established in 2010 as a nonprofit under the laws of

the State of Texas. The Texas Heritage Committee

Festivals are events honoring the State of Texas, its

history and the diversity which makes the State of

Texas unique.

Modern day Texas is represented by its rich history of

oil and natural gas exploration, advances in medicine,

and business.

Texas history is celebrated through music, dance,

plays, arts, crafts, spoken word, and historical re-

enactments.

A celebration of Texas would not be complete without

the impact Ft Hood has had on people's daily lives

which is our local heritage.

SECOND ANNUAL END- OF- SUMMER EVENT

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS

2:00 PM to 6 PM: Young at Heart featuring the Wipeout

Water Slide, SpongeBob Moonwalk, craft time with Jo-

Anna and Nancy, Games for all ages, popcorn and snow

cones.

2:00 PM to 8 PM craft and food vendors along Green

Avenue.

5PM to 6 PM Raffle and Prize Drawing. All prizes to be

awarded.

6:00 PM until 8 PM live music featuring local bands and

singers.

All Day Mobile Wellness Pet Clinic and Adoptions.

This event is sponsored in part by the City of Killeen Munici-

pal Hotel Occupancy Tax.
