TV Land cancels reruns of The

Dukes of HazzardNick at Night’s TV Land network has pulled reruns of the 1980s action comedy “The Dukes of Hazzard,” over its Confederate flag imagery.

The pulling of the popular 80’s show – which ran from 1979 to 1985 on CBS - is the latest in a string of high-profile efforts to banish the Confederate flag from culture after various states began debating whether

to remove the flag.

Series producer Warner Bros. recently stopped production of toy replicas of the “General Lee,” the 1969 Dodge Charger stock car driven by the characters in the show, Southern cousins Luke and Bo. The car also features a replica of the Confederate flag on its roof.

Retailers including Walmart and eBay have stopped selling merchandise bearing reproductions of the flag.

Black Churches Are Burning

Again in AmericaAmerica’s black churches are under fire. In the weeks since the murder of nine people at Charleston’s Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal Church after a Bible study by a

white man, several fires have broken out in at least 6 predominantly African American churchesThese latest major acts of violence conducted against predominantly black churches makes many relive a time in our nation’s history where black churches – a core institution of the black community - were set on fire, often at night because of hate.

Churches that have been burned in recent days include Mount Zion African Methodist Episcopal Church in Greeleyville, South Carolina and God's Power Church of Christ in Macon, Georgia.

Two other predominantly black churches have been the target of possible arson in the past few nights. These include Glover Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Warrenville, South Carolina, which caught fire on Friday, and College Hill Seventh Day Adventist, which burned on Monday in Knoxville, Tennessee. All of the fires are under investigation.

The Supreme Court makes history, rules in favor of same-sex marriage

nationwide Gay rights advocate scored a historic victory on June 26, 2015 when the Supreme Court, in a landmark opinion, ruled that same-sex couples can marry nationwide. The 5-4 ruling by the divided Supreme Court essentially established a new civil right and assured same-sex couples equal rights in the eyes of the law. Justice Anthony Kennedy wrote for the majority with the four liberal justices. Each of the four conservative justices wrote their own dissent. The gay rights movement began nearly 46 years ago after a riot at New York's Stonewall Inn. The controversial decision could settle one of the major civil rights fights of this era. In his opinion Kennedy wrote, "No union is more profound than marriage, for it embodies the highest ideals of love, fidelity, devotion, sacrifice and family," Kennedy wrote. "In forming a marital union, two people become something greater than they once were.""Their hope," Kennedy wrote, "is not to be condemned to live in loneliness, excluded from one of civilization's oldest institutions. They ask for equal dignity in the eyes of the law. The Constitution grants them that right."

Bree Newsome tells why

she removed Confederate

FlagBree Newsome, the woman who climbed a flagpole and removed the Confederate flag from the South Carolina Statehouse June 27th - only to be arrested and have the banner raised again less than an hour later, is speaking out on why she did the act that has captured this nation’s attention. In a statement posted on Blue Nation Review, Newsome cited the June 17th killings of nine people at the Emanuel AME church in Charleston was the tip of the iceberg. “A white man had just entered a black church and massacred people as they prayed. He had assassinated a civil rights leader. This was not a page in a textbook I was reading nor an inscription on a monument I was visiting,” Newsome wrote. “This was now. This was real. This was—this is—still happening.”On June 27th she climbed the 30-foot pole using a harness just after dawn. She took down the flag, citing the Bible ad prayers as she did so. When she reached the bottom, State Police took the flag out of her hands and arrested her and her collaborator, a white man, fellow activist James Tyson. They were jailed over the weekend and later freed on bond. The flag was later replaced.“We made this decision because for us, this is not simply about a flag, but rather it is about abolishing the spirit of hatred and oppression in all its forms,” Newsome added. The event spawned the social media hashtag #FreeBree and a fund to raise money for her legal costs. After she removed the flag, Newsome quoted scripture saying, “The Lord is my light and my salvation, whom shall I fear?” She said the same thing in her statement Monday. “I refuse to be ruled by fear. How can America be free and be ruled by fear? How can anyone be?”

Former U.S. Senator Bill Bradley is fond of saying, “Slavery was America’s original sin, and racism remains its unresolved dilemma.”

But the unwillingness to face up to

the raw racism that led to the murder of nine African Americans attending Bible study at a church in Charleston, S.C. proves that the problem is more than just an unresolved dilemma. Judging by public opinion polls, most Whites live year-round in the 51st state – the state of denial.

First, let’s deal with the facts. Around 9

p.m. on June 17, Dylann Roof, a 21-year-old avowed White supremacist, entered Emanuel AME Church in Charleston and murdered nine, unarmed African Americans, ranging from 26 to 87 years old. Each victim was shot multiple times.

We have the murderer’s own words that

his goal was to “start a race war,” according to law enforcement officials who took Roof into custody.

Rather than address obvious racism, our

non-friends on Fox & Friends and other Fox network programs attempted to make the massacre about religion, gun control and anything other than the actual culprit – racism.

Fox & Friends host Steve Doocy referenced

“hostility toward Christians.” That theme was echoed by Bishop E.W. Jackson when he noted that “we don’t know why he went into a church, but he didn’t choose a bar” or “basketball court.” Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani also postulated that “maybe he hates Christian churches.”

But we aren’t talking about any Christian

church. We are talking about a historic Black church that had been carefully targeted by the shooter.

Within minutes after his name was made

public, Dylann Roof’s White supremacy

views became widely known. A photo on his Facebook page showed him wearing patches with the flags of White minority-ruled South Africa during the apartheid era and Rhodesia, now Zimbabwe. Both flags are popular symbols associated with White supremacists in the U.S.

Another photo posted on Facebook by one

of Roof’s friends showed him leaning against an automobile sporting the license plate, “Confederate States of America.”

Several days after the rampage, Roof’s

racist manifesto was discovered. In it, he said: “Anyone who thinks that White and black

people look as different as we do on the outside, but are somehow magically the same on the inside, is delusional. How could our faces, skin, hair, and body structure all be different, but our brains be exactly the same? This is the nonsense we are led to believe.

“Negroes have lower Iqs, lower impulse

control, and higher testosterone levels in generals. These three things alone are a recipe for violent behavior…”

Toward the end, he wrote: “I chose Charleston because it is most

historic city in my state, and at one time had the highest ratio of blacks to Whites in the country. We have no skinheads, no real KKK, no one doing anything but talking on the internet. Well someone has to have the bravery to take it to the real world, and I guess that has to be me.”

Some conservatives tried to make the

shootings a gun issue. After several Fox personalities suggested that ministers arm themselves, Steve Doocy chimed in, “If somebody was there, they would have had the opportunity to pull out their weapon and take [the shooter] out.”

But it’s not that simple.

“Fox & Friends used a mass shooting at a South Carolina church to baselessly promote the carrying of guns as a solution to prevent such attacks – even though research indicates that civilians are more likely to harm themselves or someone else than stop a criminal when they have a gun, and there is ‘no evidence; that arming civilians stops mass shootings,” observed mediamatters.org

After conducting a 5-month investigation,

Mother Jones magazine concluded: “In the wake of the massacres this year at a Colorado movie theater, a Sikh temple in Wisconsin, and Sandy Hook Elementary School in Connecticut, we set out to track mass shootings in the United States over the last 30 years.

“We identified and analyzed 62 of them, and

one striking pattern in the data is this: In not a single case was the killing stopped by a civilian using a gun. And in other recent (but less lethal) rampages in which armed civilians attempted to intervene, those civilians not only failed to stop the shooter but also were gravely wounded or killed. Moreover, we found that the rate of mass shootings has increased in recent years—at a time when America has been flooded with millions of additional firearms and a barrage of new laws has made it easier than ever to carry them in public places, including bars, parks, and schools.”

Clearly, the rampage in Charleston, S.C.

was not about attacking Christianity or the need for more guns. It was about racism – an issue this country has always been reluctant to address.

“I can feel it coming in the air tonight, oh Lord

And I’ve been waiting for this moment for all my life, oh Lord

Can you feel it coming in the air tonight, oh Lord, oh Lord”

– Phil Collins

This is the epilogue of Black Music Month circa 2015. Strangely enough I found that one of former boxing champ, Mike Tyson’s favorite tunes is a song by Phil Collins, who’s really a brother incognito. “I can feel it in the air tonight” worked perfect for the mood that I’m in now.

As a writer, there are days when you have brain freeze or writer’s block; and then there are days when you are inundated with things to talk and or write about. This week has rendered the rash and residue of the latter.

So where do I start? Well, now right at the top I wanted to talk about the South Carolina Confederate flag, but that’s just about to become history. They can’t afford a blow to their tourism treasure. Dylan Roof is just another wannabee supremacist who wants to be known by any means necessary. Nothing left to say there.

Then the breaking news pall was that President Obama used the word “Nigger.” Most of America feigned astonishment; I was actually quite excited because of the

context in which he used it. If you didn’t get it, what Obama said was that being called a Nigger is nothing in comparison to the treatment that America affords us.

In other words what you call us shouldn’t mean much. The real-world travesty is that for the most part, African-Americans live a Third World experience in a first world nation.

It’s kind of like living in subsidized government housing in a suave section of Highland Park. Most of our mothers taught us enough to insulate us against cruel mouthings and crude mannerisms. What is difficult for us is to watch America regard us as though we don’t belong.

On the local front, I was delighted that DISD “Mischief” Michael Floyd Miles has decided to resign. I hope Miles stands as a living testimony that talking a good game and mistreating people is not a form of management. Tough talk and well-timed terminations don’t create success or significant change. As my dad always said; “Being the whole ass is no better than being the hole of the same.”

Finally, and as if I didn’t have ample material, the long leaked announcement that Dwaine Caraway was running to unseat the County Commissioner John Wiley Price hit the airwaves. All I could think was, wouldn’t it be easier to get a legitimate job than to assume the head whore position with the Dallas Citizen’s Council?

Is this the same Duane R. Caraway whose claim to fame is a million-dollar fried chicken shack, a famous failure to get young boys to pull up their pants, and a nickel bag that won’t get you high and doesn’t constitute a misdemeanor? D Wayne is no run-of-the-mill idiot; he is exceptional at what he’s paid to do. #NegroQuitPlayin’

All in all it has been a fantastic week to be a journalist. It’s a trifecta if you are an opinion writer. In the words of the great and one of my favorite writers, Robert Frost, “This one thing has made all the difference.” Sadly, the more evil, sinister, and unpredictable America gets, the better she seems to get. We are good at loving each other during times of mass tragedy.

America always seems to take two steps backwards and one step forward. Unless of course, the steppers are black and then it’s multiplied. The “Little Rock Nine,” “The South Carolina Nine or the Temptations on “Cloud Nine.” It’s been a rough week, but a change is bound to come and I can feel it in the air tonight.

SMITH: My New Year’s GiftUnfortunately I didn’t get to attend

services held for my Godson, Jeffrey D. Miller. It seems like only yesterday, although it wasn’t, that his older brother J.J. was the victim of violence, of that all-intrusive moniker, Black on Black crime. Now here he was, another black man dying a violent death.

When I talked to Jeffrey in early June, we were planning for his visit to Dallas for this weekend’s 21st annual Don’t Believe the Hype Celebrity Bowl-a-thon.

I was excited that he was coming and looking forward to sharing the experience with him.

I used to make jokes about him when he was younger. You see, one December I came home from college and his mom wanted to go out to ring in the new year.

I agreed to babysit J.J. When she came home she said she had a great time, and that is good because nine months later, Jeffrey was born.

From the time he was born, I would always say that I didn’t want to go out on New Year’s Eve because that was the time you got pregnant!

I actually took the credit for his birth!

Jeffrey was not only big in stature. He had a big heart and I loved him so much. When I moved my mother from New Jersey to Texas in 2012, he was the person who drove the truck nearly 1600 miles. And while he was here, we experienced his culinary talents as he took over my kitchen.

During a visit to New Jersey in 2012, I spent the entire day with Jeffrey and his friends. We went shopping and ate really good pizza (not throwing any shade on Chicago, but let’s be serious!).

Although it was snowing and icy, Jeffrey wanted me to meet his “second family,” a cadre of men and women who clearly loved him and valued their relationships.

They all seemed happy to finally meet “Aunt Cheryl” and the feeling was mutual because I definitely wanted to know that this kind, generous, loving, hunk of a man was surrounded around people who appreciated him and reciprocated his love.

There were about nine of us and we spent the evening at a restaurant enjoying very good food, entertainment and drinks. They even explained the art of “holding your liquor” as we talked about everything under the sun.

Everyone was respectful, there was a lot of laughing and I thoroughly enjoyed myself. I even had my first Tequila shot!

Jeffrey and I had long talks about everything from building a future and the importance of family to enjoying life and making a difference while we are here.

I don’t know why the men shot him and knowing won’t ease the pain felt from the loss. I have to take solace in the memories I have of our special relationship.

From the first frame of the film, screams erupted throughout the theater as women witnessed main character, Chan-ning Tatum in f u l l y - c l o t h e d form.

Perhaps baring witness to part-one of this sequel had them anticipating bigger things to come.

The film has a bit of a slow start, with Tatum’s character Mike Lane assuming the position of moving company business owner, carrying out the duties of everyday life of the working class. He’s been out of the stripper game for three years, having left to pursue love and happiness. One phone call erects a desire that’s been hidden far too long.

During a scene in Mike’s home wood-working shop, Ginuwine’s song Pony ironically comes on the radio during a time of welding and reflection. The tools on-hand and the atmosphere transform to a stage where sparks fly and talent and prowess

emerge. The dancing is fierce and erotic.

Soon after this display of tool magic and craftsmanship, Mike re-joins his fellow male entertainment strip mates, The Tampa Kings, on their road trip to the annual stripper convention in Myrtle Beach.

The film cleverly wove in the fact that the groups leader, Matthew McConaughey’s character, Dallas, was not present in this sequel.

It was presented on-screen as him having left them and the country. What initially seemed like a group of washed up strippers lost without their leader quickly turned into Mike instilling confidence in them to find their inner joy and to incorporate it into their performance.

Somewhat like strippers collecting cash during a show, the guys collect several unique experiences and enhancements during their travels.

From gaining an announcer in Rome, played by Jada Pinkett Smith, to a very expensive ride in exchange for a ride, these gentlemen prove they know how to entertain the company of women of all ages.

Pinkett Smith’s role is very entertaining and one of the most memorable in the film

as she encourages women to believe in the queens they are, allowing men to tickle their fancy.

She runs a venue that does just that, where one of those such men is a character named Augustus, played by Michael Strahan!

When the group makes it to their destination, their performance at the stripper convention makes the slow start definitely worth the wait. I guess you could say it was foreplay.

Male dancers from Dallas’ local club, LaBare, had cameos in the film and were at the premiere to escort women to their seats.

At the end, it seems a good time was had as the Magic Mike XXL golden dollar bills available to moviegoers were tossed throughout the theater and all over the floor. Scores of women left the theater

satisfied, and possibly more than anything else, with their energy well spent.

Tool Magic!Drills and skills lead to a mighty resurrection in Magic Mike XXL

With Independence Day just around the corner, experts want to make sure you and your family stay safe if fireworks are part of your celebration. According to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, in 2013 eight people died and 11,400 were hurt seriously enough to require medical attention because of fireworks-related injuries. About 7,400 of those injuries occurred during the one-month period between June 22 and July 22, an average of more than 240 people injured daily. Children less than 15 years of age made up 30 percent of those hurt. The risk for fireworks injury was highest for young people 15-24, followed by children younger than 10.Sparklers and bottle rockets – items that some people may not think of as hazardous – actually accounted for 25 percent of emergency room fireworks visits. Sue Vanek, RN, Burn Program Manager at Parkland Memorial Hospital, noted that while the number of patients injured by fireworks around July 4th and admitted to the Parkland Burn Center is not high, their injuries usually are

severe enough to require surgery or skin grafts. “We continue to see people come in each year around the Fourth of July with serious injuries, particularly to their hands, fingers or faces,” Vanek said. “That’s because fireworks and sparklers produce a lot of heat; the tip of a sparkler burns at 1,200 degrees Fahrenheit, hot enough to produce third-degree burns. That’s 300 degrees hotter than the temperature at which glass melts.” Experts stress their primary message: leave the fireworks to professionals. But if you or someone around you is using them, following a few safety tips can keep your Fourth of July celebration from turning tragic.

• Observe all local laws related to the use of fireworks• Closely supervise teens who are using fireworks• Never let small children near fireworks• Do not wear loose clothing• Do not light fireworks indoors or near dry grass.

• Do not immediately pick up an exploded firework; leave it for at least 20 minutesand then douse with water• Always have a bucket of water or fire extinguisher nearbyIf someone is burned by fireworks, they should seek immediate medical attention. Burn centers like the one at Parkland are uniquely prepared to deal with severe burns.“Many people don’t know we have a burn center at Parkland, but our Regional Burn Center serves a geographic area of more than 100,000 square miles, including north and east Texas and southern Oklahoma,” Vanek said. More than 800 pediatric and adult burn patients were admitted to the hospital in 2014 for inpatient care and the center had more than 3,500 outpatient visits. Established in 1962, Parkland’s Burn Center is the second largest civilian burn center in the country. The center houses a Burn Intensive Care Unit, a Burn Acute Care Unit and a Burn Care Outpatient Center. For more information about the Burn Center, visitwww.parklandhospital.com/burnunit

Dear Alma:

My husband and I have been married for over 25 years. We’re both in our late 50s. On

the outside looking in, we’re a church going happy couple, but the reality is, we’re not.

No, we don’t argue or disrespect each other, but we just don’t talk much. He falls asleep in the basement most nights and I’m sleeping alone.

We don’t go out on romantic dates and he never wants to try anything new. We just exist almost like roommates. And I’m sure he would be fine with this for the rest of his life.

I love my husband very much and I don’t want my marriage to end. I have been seeing an old boyfriend lately who has moved back to our town.

He and I have not missed a beat. We’re like two teenagers sneaking around and, needless to say, everything is hot and heavy. I know I should cut it off before my husband finds out, but I enjoy the attention. I talked to my husband the other night and told him how unhappy I was and he said he’ll do better.

He hasn’t returned to our bedroom, so I’m not sure what’s going on. I just don’t know what to do.Iamnotreadytoletgoofthe way things are with the return of the “love of my life.” Do you think I should give my husband an ultimatum?

— Name withheldAn ultimatum to do what, not

catch you at your foolishness? You’re

married. Your love and devotion is reserved for your husband, only. In the good, bad, fast and slow times. This sounds like a slow season.

Your husband clearly is a guy who deserves the opportunity to make it better.

He isn’t abusing you, he seems to be in a comfort zone. You have invested 25 years in a person who should be respected as the LOYL. Don’t get it twisted.

Girlfriend, you’re as wrong as a Wendy Williams weave and you know it.

Adultery is never the acceptable behavior. Just because you’ve added lip gloss and eye liner doesn’t beautify it. You’re wrong!

Ok, so your husband isn’t romantic, won’t come to bed and he isn’t hitting it like he used too. And? What can you do about it? Have you offered him a reason to come to bed? Start focusing and planning a red hot reunion with all the dedication and planning you exercised to plan your wedding, and watch happens.

Break if off with the other lover. No contact whatsoever, no phone calls, emails, text messages, Facebook contact, twitter post, snail mail, nothing.

Find your way back to reality. Back to honoring your husband. Girl, get your stuff together.

What you’re doing is ratchet, cut it out. It’s one thing to lie to yourself when you don’t know any better, but you do.

You have pulled in the wrong driveway Lady Love, cause you gets no sympathy here.

What if my husband finds out?

I don’t know about you but, there have been times when I have confused being blessed with being lucky. When it seems that life has stacked the deck against me, my worldly perspective on things can get kind of blurred.

I mean life does that periodically. My point is that when this occurs and my back is truly up against the wall, I’m fortunate to be able to steady myself and come back to one very truthful thing.

It’s not luck. Forever strike that from your vocabulary. I am blessed and there are not enough hours in the day to say thank you to the Almighty for this simple change in thought. What it means is that from wherever I sit, whatever my predicament or circumstances, I have not missed my wake up call from God.

It may have been a long time coming, but this time I didn’t hit the snooze button. Instead I got myself out of bed and started at some point to pay attention to God’s agenda rather than my own. If you think about it, everybody could or should ask the same question. Have you missed your wake up call? Did you call the front desk and ask/pray for one?

The bible is full of saints and sinners who, when God rang them up, tried their very best to play past, ignore or sleep through God’s call upon their lives. Most tried to deny it. Some begged God to ask somebody else.

Many just turned over and wouldn’t believe God was actually trying to get in touch with them. Ask Jonah, Moses, Zechariah to name a few. But that’s a funny thing about God. He continues to call, sometimes with consequences for the reluctant sleeper. I’m just thankful I answered the phone.

Can you imagine missing your wake up call from God and never getting another

one? Like I said, I’m feeling much more than just lucky today. I would have loved to have seen Mom’s face to hear me say I’m saved. There are still people rolling over in their graves at this rather remarkable news.

Yes, there is a celebration going on. And the only reason I know this is because in my life, I know I woke up exactly one ring before the last ring of my wake up call. Now I might be wrong but from my seat, better late than never. I’m giddy today with the reality that God said, “ring him up one more time.”

It stops and starts with ‘thank you.’ It includes the truth that one day I will die knowing that God loves me and that knowledge gives a whole new meaning

to my entire existence. You know when you miss your wake up call, it has a tendency to ruin your whole day.

I believe when you miss your wake up call from God, it has a tendency to ruin the rest of your natural life and the next life after

that. I know there is someone who is reading this right now who also knows the feeling of just getting in under the wire; catching a plane, making a meeting, getting to the store right before it closes.

Maybe you made it in time to talk someone into letting you in after the door was locked when they weren’t supposed to. The negative anticipation is replaced with great elation that, whew, you made it.

Thank God I made it! Now I may not get to heaven but I can honestly say, I do know the way. The rest is up to me. I don’t know about you but that’s worth shouting about. The bible says count it all joy. Life and death look a whole lot different to me now.

Actually, they’re pretty much the same to some extent. God is in both realms. And it’s pretty nice to find or be found and then follow Him in this one. You guys have a nice day and may God bless and keep you forever.

“Do not be conformed to this age, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may discern what is the good, pleasing and perfect will of God.” Romans 12:2.

Resume: [email protected], (214) 514-9553 or

By Dorothy GentryMavsfansforlife.com

Less than 24 hours into NBA Free Agency, the Dallas Mavericks were down 2-0, with three other free agents dangling feet out the door and meeting with other teams.

As of press time, the Mavs were still courting Los Angeles Clippers free-agent big man DeAndre Jordan. The league-leader in rebounds last year sat down Wednesday with his representatives and a contingent of Mavs brass – including Owner Mark Cuban, Coach Rick Carlisle, and stars Dirk Nowitzki and Chandler Parson - for more than four hours discussing why he should leave L.A.

Jordan has Texas ties – he’s a former Texas A& M standout – and he’s an avid Dallas Cowboy’s fan and friend of Parsons who has been vocal and visible in recruiting Jordan to Dallas.

But to land the “big fish” that is Jordan will take a miracle as he was meeting at press time Thursday with his current team, the L.A. Clippers - with whom he has spent his entire seven-year career. What a decision – Los Angeles or Dallas?

The Mavericks were also pursuing prized free agent LaMarcus Aldridge of the Portland Trailblazers. The hometown product (he’s a graduate of Seagoville High School) has been courted by Dallas before but he didn’t want to “come home” then and hasn’t indicated that

his mind has changed. As of press time he was seriously considering traveling down I-35 to join the San Antonio Spurs. Ouch!

Aldridge’s current teammate, free agent guard Wesley Matthews, is also on the radar for the Mavericks and would give them the shooting power they need.

But they are going to need a lot more than a shooter if the first 24 hours of NBA free agency are any indication.

Starting the seemingly mass exit was forward Al-Farouq Aminu who agreed to a four-year, $30 million deal with the Portland Trail Blazers less than two hours after Free Agency began. The Mavericks were in no position to offer anything that large to Aminu if they hoped to lure Jordan and Matthews from their respective teams.

Fan favorite Tyson Chandler – a major force in the Mavs 2011 Championship run and who just returned to the Mavs last year after three years in New York – stunned all by signing with the Phoenix Suns, four years worth over $50 million. Chandler was the Mavericks’ Plan B at Center – until the Suns snagged him.

To add insult to injury, as of press time, the Sacramento Kings were pursuing Maverick free agent guards Rajon Rondo and Monta Ellis and fan favorite J.J.

Barea was “seriously considering” an offer from the Miami Heat. Ellis also has serious consideration from the Indiana Pacers. All of the above essentially guaranteeing that at the minimum, 3 more Mavericks walk out the door.

The Mavericks’ MUST sign DeAndre Jordan – and even Wesley Matthews if they can. If not, Dallas beloved NBA franchise is in a world of trouble.
