The Mountains and Basins region is in the western corner of Texas.Go

basins (large areas of low land), mountains and mountain ranges,
and deserts.
Climate and VegetationClimate:
This region is the driest region in Texas. It is warm most of
the time, but has cool nights.

in the basins.

inches/year. Vegetation: This region has cedar trees, rich soil, and grass.
